| Abstract: | Domino reactions of 3-alkylpyrazol-5-amines with 3-arylprop-2-enals and cyclic 1,3-diketones regioselectively afforded pyrazolo3,4-b]pyridine derivatives. The alkylation and acylation of the synthesized compounds were studied using 3,7,7-trimethyl-4-(E)-2-phenylethenyl]-2,4,6,7,8,9-hexahydro-5H-pyrazolo-3,4-b]quinolin-5-one as model. |
