| Abstract: | Photochromic thieno3,2-b]thiophenes and dithieno3,2-b:2',3'-d]thiophene with photo-switchable luminescence properties have been synthesized using a Suzuki cross-coupling reaction; their electronic structures, and photochromic and luminescence behaviour have also been studied. |
