Zur Kenntnis von Cu6La4Mo9O36

About Cu₆La₄Mo₉O₃₆ Single crystals of Cu₆La₄Mo₉O₃₆ were prepared and investigated by X-ray work. It shows trigonal symmetry, space group R3c — C; a = 20.892, c = 12.754 Å; Z = 6. Cu₆La₄Mo₉O₃₆ represents a new structure type, characterized by MoO₄-tetrahedrons and three times capped trigonal prisms around La³⁺. Cu⁺ shows coordination numbers 2 + 1 or 2 + 2.
