| Abstract: | A review is presented on the progresses of laser photothermal spectroscopy and its applications in analytical chemistry. A laser photothermal spectrometry based on the "thermal lens effect" and the "mirage effect" is discussed with emphasis. Principle, structure characteristic and analytical application of all kinds of scheme are compared. |
