| Abstract: | The quantum problem of three impenetrable particles of arbitrary mass confined to a ring is solved by the Bethe ansatz. The solution of this problem is intimately related to the solution a Helmholtz equation in the interior of an arbitrary acute triangle, a problem thought insoluble by Bethe ansatz methods. |
