Abstract:A novel polyelectrolyte complex from diazoresin(DR) as cationic polyelectrolyte and poly(sodium styrene sulfonate)(PSS) as anionic polyelectrolyte was prepared. It was found that the complex which is indissolve in water or any organic solvent, will dissolve in SDS aqueous solution. The DR PSS/SDS aqueous solution, as an unexpected result, exhibits extraordinary thermostability as well as high photosensitivity and can be used directly as a composition in photoimaging technique. A proposed explanation for soluble of DR PSS in SDS aqueous solution and high thermostability was proposed and discussed preliminary.
