Abstract: | A general centered form for polynomials is defined. This centered form is based on the concept of an arrangement of the variables of the polynomial. A formula for the number of arrangements of a term and of a polynomial is given. Some examples are computed showing that even polynomials with moderately many variables may have a very large number of possible centered forms. |
