High-temperature reactions of trichloroethylene with toluene and with methanol

Conclusions The reactions of trichloroethylene with toluene and with methanol, conducted 560–570°, leads to the formation of a mixture of the isomers R-CH=CCl₂ and cis- and trans-R-CCl=CHCl (R=CH₂C₆H₅ and CH₂OH).Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR.
