| Abstract: | Coumarin and hydrocoumarin adsorbed on silver island film were investigated by means of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy. Polarized Raman spectra of the compounds were recorded and vibrational assignments for some characteristic Raman bands are given. The comparison of these spectra allows conclusions about the orientation of the molecule on the surface. |
