A silicon chip device with two types of integrated platinum thin film resistors was applied for microcaloric measurements. It was shown that the device is capable of fast characterization of liquid evaporation behaviour and allows the determination of evaporation enthalpies for pure liquids and mixtures. The applicability was demonstrated for a wide range of solvents from nonpolar aliphatic solvents over polar organics to protic solvents (e.g. iso-octane, toluene, acetone, ethanol, methanol and water). The sample volumes were in the range of about 2-5 μL. The determination of transient times, in case of constant power mode, or the power integral over time was used for the fast estimation of binary liquid mixtures. Thermo-resistive measurements of 5 μL droplets of solvent mixtures like methanol/iso-propanol, ethanol/water, iso-octane/iso-propanol and iso-octane/1,4-dioxane showed significant changes in temperature characteristics and evaporation enthalpies in dependence on composition. The applied heating power was about 1 W, which corresponds to measurement times between a few seconds and a minute. 相似文献

用60Co、137Cs、90Sr-90Y放射源低剂量率对恒流激励、无磁场作用时的InSb、GaAs、Si、Ge等半导体霍尔器件进行短时辐照,测量了辐照过程中各器件输入电阻的变化。结果表明:因为位移效应所引起的辐射缺陷,三种辐照均导致各器件输入电阻增加,并与辐照时间成正比。比较相同射线、相同时间辐照所引起的输入电阻变化量,可以判定Ge器件的抗辐射能力最强,Si器件次之,InSb、GaAs器件最差。 相似文献

研究了一种可以工作在多个频率段的扭转夹心式换能器.该换能器由前后金属盖板、两组周向极化压电晶堆及电负载组成.分析了接电负载压电圆管的扭转振动特性,推出了其机电等效电路和共振频率方程.利用等效电路方法,给出了换能器的共振频率方程,并得到了换能器的共振频率与负载阻抗曲线,为此类换能器的设计提供了理论依据.该换能器可望应用于超声焊接、超声加工及超声马达等领域. 相似文献

With Laser Reflective Tomography(LRT),the near fields of ultrasonic transducers were measured and analyzed.The principle of LRT measurement of ultrasonic field distribution was introduced and an experimental system was set up.Acoustic pressure of a multiple element piston transducer was measured by using of a laser vibrometer.Its distribution in amplitude and phase was obtained.The acoustic pressure in the same region was measured with a needle hydrophone to validate the LRT method.Furthermore,through reconstruction of acoustic fields,it indicated that LRT method is suitable for predicting the distribution on transducers'surface and conditions of active elements. 相似文献

For non-destructive testing applications it is often necessary to limit the number of cycles in a pulse produced by ultrasonic transducers. Usually a backing with a high ultrasonic attenuation and with an acoustic impedance chosen to match that of the piezoelectric active element of the transducer is employed. The acoustic properties of the commonly used tungsten/Araldite backings are compared theoretically with those of composites made by pressing tungsten powder with a powder of a plastic metal. The change in ultrasonic velocity and attenuation due to scattering by the tungsten particles is investigated and the dependence on frequency is determined. 相似文献

In this paper we present an accurate and efficient numerical method for a rigorous full-wave analysis of interdigital transducers (IDT) for the excitation of surface acoustic waves on the piezoelectric substrate of acousto-optical devices. The problem is formulated in terms of an integral equation that is solved by the method of moments. The transducer input admittance and the power coupling factors to both surface and bulk waves are computed. Numerical results for some configurations of X-Y LiNbO3 IDT for acousto-optic applications are in very good agreement with measured data. This work describes the dielectric properties of piezoelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) thin films in the frequency and temperature ranges relevant for usual applications. We measured the isothermal dielectric relaxation spectra of commercial piezoelectric PVDF thin films between 10 Hz to 10 MHz, at several temperatures from 278 K to 308 K. Measurements were made for samples in mechanically free and clamped conditions, in the direction of the poling field (perpendicular to the film). We found that the imaginary part of the dielectric relaxation spectra of free and clamped PVDF samples is dominated by a peak, above 100 kHz, that can be characterized by a Havriliak-Negami function. The characteristic time follows an Arrhenius dependence on temperature. Moreover, the spectra of the free PVDF samples show two additional peaks at low frequencies which are associated with mechanical relaxation processes. Our results are important for the characterization of piezoelectric PVDF, particularly after the stretching and poling processes in thin films, and for the design and characterization of a broad range of ultrasonic transducers. 相似文献

Carbazole‐based liquid single‐crystal elastomers (LSCEs) are valuable fluorescent flexible materials to perform optical mechanotransduction under ambient conditions. Indeed, the covalent incorporation of carbazole derivatives into nematic LSCEs allows to tune their luminescence on demand under mechanical control in a quick and reversible fashion. Specifically, the fluorescence intensity for these materials can be switched back and forth in less than a second. Moreover, such a process can be performed several times without detecting any sign of fatigue in the system. In addition, these materials show excellent resistance to aging; 2 years after their preparation they exhibit the very same mechanofluorescent behavior as when freshly prepared. In fact, the here reported fluorescent systems are highly sensitive; the application of a force of 70 mN decreases the fluorescence in the elastomeric material by 7%. Thus, mechanical forces are attractive external stimuli to modulate the fluorescence of nematic elastomers rapidly and reversibly enabling thereby mechanotransduction.
