A posteriori error analysis of a quadratic finite volume method for nonlinear elliptic problems

In this article, we construct and analyze a residual-based a posteriori error estimator for a quadratic finite volume method (FVM) for solving nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. We shall prove that the a posteriori error estimator yields the global upper and local lower bounds for the norm error of the FVM. So that the a posteriori error estimator is equivalent to the true error in a certain sense. Numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the theoretical results.     

Direct Transformation of Arenols Based on C—O Activation

In the view of substrate availability, atomic efficiency and cost, directly using arenols as coupling partners in cross‐coupling, would be one of the most attractive goals. Up to date, many efforts have been made to activate the C—O bond of phenols with different strategies, for example, through in‐situ formed intermediates, through a catalytic reductive dearomatization‐condensation‐rearomatization sequence or catalytic deoxygenation. In this review, we summarized recent advances in cross‐couplings of arenols as the electrophiles via C—O activation.

利用X射线光电子能谱(XPS)测试5,10,15,20-四-(对羟基苯基)卟啉单体和5,10,15,20-四-(对羟基苯基)卟啉自组装二聚体,并通过化学模拟得到卟啉自组装二聚体分子的最优构象.结果表明:两种卟啉化合物中氧原子的类型不同;在单体卟啉中未检测到瞬态表面光电压信号,卟啉自组装二聚体表现出较好的瞬态表面光伏特性;卟啉自组装二聚体的光限幅性质优于卟啉1单体.     

Transition‐Metal‐Free Trifluoromethylthiolation of N‐Heteroarenes

A general and efficient methodology for the direct transition metal free trifluoromethylthiolation of a broad range of biologically relevant N‐heteroarenes is reported employing abundant sodium chloride as the catalyst. This method is operationally simple, exhibits high functional group tolerance, and does not require protecting groups.

Thermal gradient induced sidebranching in directional solidification

The polycrystalline perovskitelike manganese oxides La_1-xA_xMnO (A = Na, and K, ) have been fabricated by sol-gel technique. For all the compositions explored in this work, the average manganese oxidation state is practically constant, at for A = Na, and for A = K, respectively. A close relationship is confirmed to hold between the Curie temperature (T_c) and the bond distance of Mn-O. Results of magnetic measurements show that these materials can be utilized as suitable candidates for magnetic refrigerants with wide applied temperature span, for their significant entropy change and the easily tuned Curie temperature. 研究了ｐＨ值、中和剂、硫化物等对沉淀除去酸性矿山废水中有害金属离子的影响以及回收废水中重金属离子的可能途径．确定了ＣａＣＯ３除铁－Ｈ２Ｓ沉铜、锌－石灰乳中和絮凝沉淀处理矿山酸性废水的工艺．出水水质可达到国家排放标准．硫化渣中含铜量达３２％，含锌量７．２％，可以综合回收铜、锌等有价金属．
