Inclusion of Nonopiate Analgesic Drugs in Cyclodextrins. I. X-Ray Structure of a 1 : 1 β-Cyclodextrin-p-bromoacetanilide Complex

The preparation and X-ray crystal structure of a 1 : 1 complex between -cyclodextrin (-CD) and the analgesic p-bromoacetanilide are reported. Thermogravimetric and UV spectrophotometric analyses of single crystals grown from an aqueous solution containing host and guest in 1 : 1 molar ratio yielded the composition -CD p-bromoacetanilide $ 13.5H2O. Crystals of the complex are triclinic, space group P1, with a = 15.197(3), b = 15.613(2), c = 15.743(4) Å, = 87.16(2), = 98.29(2), = 103.39(1)° and Z = 2 crystallographically independent complex units per unit cell. The -CD molecules form head-to-head dimers which pack in the channel-mode. Each dimer contains two guest molecules whose acetylamino substituents are located at the dimer interface while the bromine atoms protrude from the -CD primary faces. The acetyl residues of both guest molecules were found to be disordered but the X-ray data permitted     

Can TMS and DSS be used as NMR references for cyclodextrin species in aqueous solution?

Tetramethylsilane (TMS) can be included by -cyclodextrin (-CD), and sodium 2,2-dimethylsilapentane-5-sulphonate (DSS) can form inclusion complexes with - and -CD. The NMR chemical shifts are changed considerably as a result of the strong interaction between CD and the guest compound in the inclusion complexes. A downfield shift of as much as 0.63 ppm shift downfield has been observed for the protons of external TMS in CD aqueous solution. In view of this, the question arises of whether TMS and DSS can be used as internal references. DSS in D₂O is suggested as an external reference for aqueous cyclodextrin solution in NMR measurements.     

基于灰色关联分析的“白屋顶计划”评价模型

在已知人为热释放、风速、日照时数和相对湿度的前提下,以芜湖市为例,运用灰色关联分析求出以上四个影响因素对行为因子(城市热岛效应)的关联影响程度,算出日照时数在四个环境因子中的比重,从而将白色屋顶计划对城市热岛效应的作用量化,建立了灰色预测模型。通过回归分析计算白屋顶计划对城市温度的影响,最后将预测数据与真实数据进行对比,模型结果表明"白屋顶计划"是合理且可行的。

A Weighted Evolving Network with Community Size Preferential Attachment

Community structure is an important characteristic in real complex network. It is a network consists of groups of nodes within which links are dense but among which links are sparse. In this paper, the evolving network include node, link and community growth and we apply the community size preferential attachment and strength preferential attachment to a growing weighted network model and utilize weight assigning mechanism from BBV model. The resulting network reflects the intrinsic community structure with generalized power-law distributions of nodes＇ degrees and strengths.

On certain positive linear operators in polynomial weight spaces

Ellipticity of the Linearly Polarized He-Ne Laser Radiation Reflected by the Leaves of Plants

The phenomenon of elliptical polarization of the linearly polarized radiation reflected near the Brewster angle by the leaves of plants has been investigated.
