公理化局部有限空间中映射连续性的扩展

用公理化方法研究了局部有限空间中的连续映射及其扩张问题。给出了局部有限空间的公理化定义方法;利用邻近关系研究了局部有限空间中的连续映射、同胚和局部同胚等问题;通过对局部有限空间变形的研究,定义了局部有限空间的一种特殊收缩核,有效地解决了局部有限空间中连续映射的扩张问题。     

Fourier-Feynman transform, convolution and first variation

We examine several interesting relationships and expressions involving Fourier-Feynman transform, convolution product and first variation for functionals in the Fresnel class F(B) of an abstract Wiener space B. We also prove a translation theorem and Parseval's identity for the analytic Feynman integral. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

Analytic Feynman integrals of transforms of variation of cylinder type functions over Wiener paths in abstract Wiener space

In this paper, we evaluate various analytic Feynman integrals of first variation, conditional first variation, Fourier-Feynman transform and conditional Fourier-Feynman transform of cylinder type functions defined over Wiener paths in abstract Wiener space. We also derive the analytic Feynman integral of the conditional Fourier-Feynman transform for the product of the cylinder type functions which define the functions in a Banach algebra introduced by Yoo, with n linear factors.     

Mathematical and numerical analysis of a simplified time-dependent viscoelastic flow

A time-dependent model corresponding to an Oldroyd-B viscoelastic fluid is considered, the convective terms being disregarded. Global existence in time is proved in Banach spaces provided the data are small enough, using the implicit function theorem and a maximum regularity property for a three fields Stokes problem. A finite element discretization in space is then proposed. Existence of the numerical solution is proved for small data, so as a priori error estimates, using again an implicit function theorem. A New Modal Lindström Theorem

We prove new Lindstr?m theorems for the basic modal propositional language, and for some related fragments of first-order logic. We find difficulties with such results for modal languages without a finite-depth property, high-lighting the difference between abstract model theory for fragments and for extensions of first-order logic. WKB-type approximations for second-order differential equations in -algebras

Rigorous asymptotic approximations of the WKB (or Liouville-Green) type are obtained for a basis of solutions to abstract/img4.gif" > in the framework of abstract/img5.gif" >-algebras. Both cases abstract/img6.gif" > and abstract/img7.gif" > are included, thus generalizing the classical theory for scalar equations developed by F.W.J. Olver to matrix as well as to infinite-dimensional equations.

     

Higher-order necessary conditions for infinite and semi-infinite optimization

In this paper, we present a unified theory of first-order and higher-order necessary optimality conditions for abstract vector optimization problems in normed linear spaces. We prove general multiplier rules, from which nearly all known first-order, second-order, and higher-order necessary conditions can be derived. In the last section, we prove higher-order necessary conditions for semi-infinite programming problems.This work was developed within the Forschungsschwerpunkt Dynamische Systeme, Universität Bremen, Bremen, West Germany.The author wishes to thank Prof. Dr. D.
