A partial differential equation which describes an interatomic surface

In this work we present a first-order partial differential equationwhich defines the topology of single ‘atomic entities’in multiatomic systems. Such an equation, obtained by R. F.W. Bader, is here analysed and discussed from a general mathematicalpoint of view; a method is then proposed for defining the initialor boundary condition. With this contribution we would liketo promote and stimulate a more detailed analysis which goesbeyond practical purposes and basic mathematical analysis inorder to have a deeper understanding of the theory behind theequation and its consequences for practical applications.     

Nanostructure evolution studies of bulk polymer materials with synchrotron radiation: progress in method development

The prospects of a modern analysis of nanostructure evolution during the processing of polymer materials by means of scattering from synchrotron radiation are demonstrated in examples. The beam sources have gained stability, shortages are located in beamline setups and in method development for the quantitative analysis of voluminous data sets.By using the proposed multidimensional chord distribution function (CDF) analysis method, nanostructure information from small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) data are extracted and visualised. The method can be automated if the beamline setup is able to deliver a full data set with simple constraints. In this case even a simultaneous data evaluation is possible (while one pattern is accumulated, the previous one is analysed). The advantages of the method are demonstrated in a study of the straining of a thermoplastic elastomer. The possibilities of an automated analysis are demonstrated in an investigation of the crystallisation behaviour of high-pressure injection-moulded polyethylene (HPIM-PE). The achievable results of nanostructure analysis of polymer materials are discussed. It is shown that the time-resolved SAXS of polymer materials studied during a transformation and analysed by the CDF method is not just a powerful tool to investigate the relationship between structure and properties of materials; the information that can be gained concerning the processes that control nanostructure evolution is equally important. In the future the enlightenment of such relationships may help to tailor polymer materials with respect to their properties and, beyond that, to improve assessments concerning their aging.     

模糊聚类应用于MIS子系统划分的研究

本文介绍了模糊聚类应用于ＭＩＳ子系统划分的新方法,包括基于模糊等价关系的方法和基于模糊相似关系的“最大树”方法．     

一类直接耦合系统的混沌同步

将一个完整系统通过分解得到的多个子系统中,有的子系统是稳定的,有的子系统是不稳定的。稳定的子系统和不稳定的子系统之间通过某种耦合后能组成一个复合系统。作者在本文中研究了这个耦合的复合系统中稳定的子系统和不稳定的子系统之间的同步问题,结论是在这个耦合的复合系统中稳定的子系统和不稳定的子系统之间也可能达到混沌或非混沌同步。     

关于中医色光疗法机理的植物神经模型

本文通过分析现代医学对阴阳原理和气功的最新研究,总结出阴阳与植物神经系统功能的对应关系;结合中医色光疗法对阴阳诸证的辨证医治,提出了中医色光疗法机理的植物神经模型：绿色、蓝色、紫色等冷色兴奋副交感神经系统,红色、橙色、黄色等暖色兴奋交感神经系统．该模型不但成功地用于解释现代科学关于色觉的研究成果,而且填补了色觉理论的人类证据这一空白．该模型还成功地用于解释现代科学关于色彩生理学和色彩心理学的研究成果．我们相信,本文为中医色光疗法的进一步的临床应用提供了理论依据．     

Unraveling the mystery of efficacy in Chinese medicine formula: New approaches and technologies for research on pharmacodynamic substances

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is the key to unlock treasures of Chinese civilization. TCM and its compound play a beneficial role in medical activities to cure diseases, especially in major public health events such as novel coronavirus epidemics across the globe. The chemical composition in Chinese medicine formula is complex and diverse, but their effective substances resemble “mystery boxes”. Revealing their active ingredients and their mechanisms of action has become focal point and difficulty of research for herbalists. Although the existing research methods are numerous and constantly updated iteratively, there is remain a lack of prospective reviews. Hence, this paper provides a comprehensive account of existing new approaches and technologies based on previous studies with an in vitro to in vivo perspective. In addition, the bottlenecks of studies on Chinese medicine formula effective substances are also revealed. Especially, we look ahead to new perspectives, technologies and applications for its future development. This work reviews based on new perspectives to open horizons for the future research. Consequently, herbal compounding pharmaceutical substances study should carry on the essence of TCM while pursuing innovations in the field.     

Gas chromatographic conditions for the linearity of the relationship between σT,t and tR in open tubes

The linearity of the relationship between σ_T,t² and (1 + k)² is studied with the view of using it for the evaluation of GC equipment. Based on appropriate analytical expressions it is concluded that in general this relationship is not linear and that practical procedures for column evaluation should be developed that take this non-linearity into account.     

The construction and evaluation of a high pressure manifold and vessels for a Calvet type microcalorimeter

A Setaram C-80 calorimeter has been modified in order to measure the heat flow of energetic materials at pressures up to 69 MPa. A manifold and sample cells capable of operating at high pressure were designed, constructed and evaluated. This paper will describe, in detail, the high pressure manifold construction, safety assessment and calibration. As well, the results for initial trials with ammonium nitrate (AN), and pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) at various pressures and heating rates will be discussed.
