Echo planar imaging of perfluorocarbons

Emulsions of perfluorotributylamine (FTBA) and perflubron were evaluated for their utility in ¹⁹F echo planar imaging. Fluorine images of the emulsions were obtained in a phantom and two mice that had been predosed. Both agents, but particularly perflubron, show potential for fluorine echo planar studies because of the long spin-spin relaxation times of the CF₃ resonances. High resolution thin slice images obtained in as little as 26.6 ms are presented.

Molecular approach to human leukemia: Isolation and characterization of the first human retrovirus HTLV-1 and its impact on tumorigenesis in Adult T-cell Leukemia

Molecular biology of mouse and chicken retroviruses had identified oncogenes and provided a revolutionary concept in understanding of cancers. A human retrovirus was established during 1980–1982 in linkage with a unique human leukemia, concurrently in Japan and USA. This review covers our efforts on the discovery of new retrovirus, Human T-cell Leukemia Virus Type 1 (HTLV-1), first introducing to a new class of retroviruses with a unique regulatory factors, Tax and Rex. Then it is followed by analyses of molecular interaction of the vial Tax with cellular machineries involved in the pathogenesis of Adult T-cell Leukemia (ATL). And then a probable mechanism of pathogenesis of ATL is proposed including recent findings on HBZ after our efforts.     

外源性生长激素对改善腹腔感染时生长激素不敏感状态中的作用

探索了外源性生长激素对改善腹腔感染时生长激素不敏感中的作用。应用盲肠结扎穿孔法（CLP）制备腹腔感染大鼠模型,同时给予外源性生长激素;应用放射免疫法测定血清生长激素（GH）水平;应用逆转录多聚酶链反应（RT-PCR）法测定肝组织胰岛素样生长因子I(IGF-I)、生长激素受体（GHR）和细胞因子信号传导抑制体3(SOCS-3)mRNA的表达;应用ELISA测定血清肿瘤坏死因子α(TNF-α)和白介素6(IL-6)水平。结果表明腹腔感染组大鼠血清生长激素水平与对照组无明显差异,但肝组织IGF-ImRNA表达明显下降;给予外源性生长激素后可明显降低血清TNF-α和IL-6水平,同时可更快地促使GHR和IGF-ImRNA表达的上调及下调SOCS-3mRNA的表达。腹腔感染时机体存在对生长激素的不敏感状态,给予外源性生长激素后可明显地改善感染状态下机体对生长激素的敏感性。     

一个与人类待定肿瘤抑制基因同源的水稻基因的分离

从水稻基因文库中筛选到一个与人类待定肿瘤抑制基因QM同源的基因,命名为OSQM2．该基因片断长为3．1kb,编码一个具有184个氨基酸的高度碱性的蛋白质,与其他已知QM基因相比,该基因具有一个非常特殊的启动子,包含许多在植物中已发现的与抗逆有关的顺式作用因子,如：“G盒”,“DRE盒”,“MYC盒”等,故而该基因有可能是一个新的受环境胁迫因子诱导的基因,Southern杂交表明它以单拷贝形式存在于基因组中。     

Two virus-encoded RNA silencing suppressors, P14 of Beet necrotic yellow vein virus and S6 of Rice black streak dwarf virus

Functional analysis for gene silencing suppressor of P14 gene of Beet necrotic yellow vein virus and S6 gene of Rice black streak dwarf virus was carried out by agro- infiltration with recombinant vectors of Potato virus X. The phenotype observation of green fluorescent protein (GFP)expression and Northern blot showed that the gene silencing of gfp transgenic Nicotiana benthamiana induced by homologous sequence was strongly suppressed by the immixture infiltration of either the P14 or the $6. In the suppressed plants, the gfp mRNA accumulation was higher than that in the non-suppressed controls and the symptoms caused by PVX infection became more severe, especially the gfp DNA methylation of plant genome was significantly inhabited when co-infiltrated with RBSDV S6 gene. These results suggested that these two virus genes were potentially to encode for proteins as RNA silencing suppressors.

回波通道平坦时延估计的算法研究

本文在综述平坦时延估计算法的基础上,对相关算法进行了计算机模拟,得到了最小抽头数选取的依据(M=1.1N),还探讨了语音白化软件的实现和基于相关平坦时延估计算法的回波抵消器实现方案。
