Assessing the nucleophilic character of 2-amino-4-arylthiazoles through coupling with 4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxan: Experimental and theoretical approaches based on structure-reactivity relationships

A kinetic study of the reactions of potentially bioactive 2-amino-4-arylthiazoles with highly reactive 4,6-dinitrobenzofuroxan (DNBF) is reported herein in acetonitrile solution. The complexation reaction was followed by recording the UV–vis spectra with time at λ_max = 482 nm. Electronic effects of substituents influencing the rate of reaction have been studied using structure-reactivity relationships. It is shown that the Hammett plot relative to the reaction of DNBF with 2-amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl)thiazole exhibit positive deviation from the log k₁ versus σ correlation, while it showed excellent linear correlation in terms of Yukawa–Tsuno equation. It has be noticed that the nonlinear Hammett plot observed for 2-amino-4-(4-chlorophenyl) thiazole is not attributed to a change in rate-determining step but is due to nature of electronic effect of substituent caused by the resonance of stabilization of substrates. The second-order rate constant (k₁) relating to the bond C–C and C-N forming step of the complexation processes of DNBF with 4-substituted-aminothiazoles and 2-amino-5-methyl-4-phenylthiazole, respectively, is fit into the linear relationship log k = s_N (N + E), thereby permitting the assessment of the nucleophilicity parameter (N) of the 2-amino-4-arylthiazoles of the range (4.90 < N < 6.85). 2-amino-4-arylthiazoles is subsequently ranked by positioning its reactivity on the general nucleophilicity scale developed recently by Mayr and coworkers (2003) leading an interesting and a direct comparison over a large domain of π-, σ -, and n-nucleophiles. The global electrophilicity/nucleophilicity reactivity indexes of the 2-amino-4-arylthiazoles have been investigated by means of a density functional theory (DFT) method. .     

On Burst Length Distribution and Preemption Probabilities in OBS Networks with Burst Segmentation

Recently, preemption techniques have attracted considerable attention as a means to provide differentiated quality of service in optical burst switching (OBS) networks. This paper is focused on the analysis of preemption probabilities for bursts within the same priority class. As proposed by Vokkarane and Jue ((2003)* IEEE J Select Areas Commun 21(7): 1198–1209) an incoming burst will preempt the burst in service, within the same priority class, if the residual length of the burst in service is smaller than the incoming burst length. For a general case with wavelength conversion, the preemption probability of contending bursts with a generic service distribution, not necessarily exponential, is analyzed. First, we show that the size distribution for the preempting bursts is shifted to larger values, in comparison to the original burst size distribution. Second, we obtain an upper and lower bound for the preemption probability. Finally, the asymptotic behavior of the OBS switch is analyzed showing that preemption will always occur for a very large number of wavelengths.     

一种新颖的基于非压缩数字视频的水印盲检测算法

数字水印是一种嵌入到多媒体数据中用来进行版权标识的工具。在众多的宿主媒体中，数字视频因具有隐藏容量大、透明性好、鲁棒性强等诸多优点而受到日益广泛的关注。但是很多文献中提到的视频水印都是从数据流中提取单帧图像进行处理，这类算法与静态图像的水印方法如出一辙，没有充分利用视频文件的各种特性。而且对帧平均、视频压缩等常见的运动图像攻击方法十分敏感。针对这些问题，本文以非压缩视频文件为实验对象，结合人类视觉模型和彩色图像场景分割的方法，提出并实现了一种基于视频时间轴的数字水印盲检测算法。实验结果表明算法有效实用。     

移动信息接收机的研制

介绍了一种新型的通信传媒设备，详细介绍了该接收机的工作机理、结构、功能特点以及软硬件的设计思路。     

区域分割法辅助计算复杂图像面积

介绍计算具有复杂边缘轮廓的图像面积的区域分割法。采用鼠标多边形作图法近似圈定待处理的图像区域。本文由格林定理出发得到有限连续边界与其包围区域面积之间的函数关系,并且应用这一函数关系得出多边形与其包围区域面积的数学关系,近似得到图像区域面积。文中以烟幕图像为例对上述结论进行了验证。文章最后给出了在VC++环境下实现多边形分割的部分源代码。     

基于WVD的防空雷达直升机信号特征分析

基于直升机目标旋转部件的调制模型，本文针对防空雷达提出了分析直升机信号特征的一种新方法——WVD法，并对直升机目标旋转部件调制回波信号在不同噪声情况下加以仿真分析，结果表明：用WVD分析雷达回波中直升机信号特征是一种非常有效的方法。     

30.4 nm光电成像系统分辨率的初步实验研究

本文基于微通道板MCP(Microchannel Plate)探测器件设计一套成像系统，用于对波长为30．4nm的极紫外EUV(Extreme Ultraviolet)光进行成像．结果获得了一宽度为3mm的狭缝的像，实验测得490μm的成像系统的空间分辨率，并分析了影响系统分辨率的各种因素及为提高系统分辨率所应采取的措施．     

属间远缘杂交水稻耐旱性生理特性的比较研究

采用在ＹＯＳＨＩＤＡ水稻专用培养营养液中添加一定量的ＰＥＧ ６０００的方法，比较研究了模拟干旱胁迫条件下属间远缘杂交新型水稻品种“远诱１号”（Ｙ）及其水稻亲本“圭６３０”（Ｇ）、高梁亲本“桃长红”（Ｔ）以及生产推广杂交组合“汕优６３”（Ｓ）等试验材料某些生态生理特性的差异。研究结果表明，在－１．０ＭＰａ的高渗胁迫下，Ｙ、Ｇ、Ｔ的萌发系数均有不同程度的下降，正常培养条件下的萌发系数ＧＣ分别为３６．９     

Acoustic reflection from a baffled elastic/piezoelectric plate

A finite difference/boundary integral procedure to determine the acoustic reflected pressure from a fluid-loaded bi-laminated plate is described. The bi-laminate is composed of a piezoelectric layer and an elastic layer in contact with the fluid, and is held by an acoustically hard baffle. In the numerical model, the fluid pressure at fluid/solid interface is replaced by a continuum of point sources weighted by the normal acceleration of the elastic plate, and the governing equation system is solved in the solid domain. With the normal acceleration found, the reflected pressure in the fluid is determined by an integral expression involving the Green's function. It is demonstrated that an appropriate applied voltage potential across the piezoelectric layer has the effect of cancelling either the reflected or scattered pressure of the plate at any chosen field points in the fluid. 聚乙烯醇侧链液晶的结构与液晶性研究

研究了聚乙烯醇侧链液晶主链分子量和液晶基元等结构因素对其液晶性的影响，结果表明随着聚合物的分子量增加，导致复合物清亮点温度下降。但是在液晶主链尚未被液晶基元饱和之前，随着液晶基元相对主链摩尔比的增加，样品形成较为完善的氢键结构。
