The use of a poly(methylmethacrylate) capillary electrophoresis chip, provided with a high sample load capacity separation system (a 8500 nL separation channel combined with a 500 nL sample injection channel) and a pair of on‐chip conductivity detectors, for zone electrophoresis (ZE) determination of oxalate in beer was studied. Hydrodynamic and electroosmotic flows of the solution in the separation compartment of the chip were suppressed and electrophoresis was a dominant transport process in the separations performed on the chip. A low pH of the carrier electrolyte (3.8), implemented by aspartic acid and bis‐tris propane, provided an adequate selectivity in the separation of oxalate from anionic beer constituents and, at the same time, also a sufficient sensitivity in its conductivity detection. Under our working conditions, this anion could be detected at a 0.5 μmol/L concentration also in samples containing chloride (a major anionic constituent of beer) at a 1800 higher concentration. Such a favorable analyte/matrix concentration ratio made possible accurate and reproducible [typically, 2–5% relative standard deviation (RSD) values of the peak areas of the analyte in dependence on its concentration in the sample] determination of oxalate in 500 nL volumes of 20–50‐fold diluted beer samples. Short analysis times (about 200 s), minimum sample preparation, and reproducible migration times of this analyte (0.5–1.0% RSD values) were characteristic for ZE on the chip.  相似文献

To develop a low cost and highly effective metallurgical route for solar-grade Si production, we investigated the zone melting directional solidification method. In this method, bulk crystalline Si is successfully produced from Si-Sn solvent; this bulk crystalline Si demonstrates a steady growth interface and excellent compositional uniformity. Moreover, the growth rate of bulk crystalline Si along the axial direction increases because the remaining MG-Si serves as Si source to keep the Si-Sn solution saturated with Si atoms, and it is approximately three times larger than that of Si by using the Si-based alloy directional solidification method without Si source. In this work, the evolution of impurity phases segregated in different regions along the axial direction is extensively discussed. The distribution and amount of impurities, including Ca, Al, B, and P, are effectively controlled by this refining method, further improving the quality of bulk crystalline Si.  相似文献

Abstract

In the framework of remote sensing studies concerning coastal transport of pollution in the Northern Adriatic Sea, a method has been developed for the quantitative determination of sulphur, iron, titanium, calcium, phosphorus, silicon, aluminium, magnesium in suspended matter of sea water.

The suspended material was collected by filtering on millipore membrane filters with pore width of 0.45 μ and directly analysed by X-ray spectroscopy. For calibration dried solution and particulate standard samples were used. Limits of sensitivity and precision of the method are reported.

Correlations between the concentration of these elements and the total suspended matter/chlorophyll are discussed.

The aim is to study the geochemical composition of particulate matter and its variations within the geographical site of the sea basin and the seasonal conditions. The approach is to consider aluminium and the other elements normalized on Al. On the basis of a matrix correlation analyses of some sets of data chosen in the restricted area for investigation, some hypothesis on superficial distribution of clay, carbonate, iron hydrous oxides and other mineral detrites, are taken into account. The results confirm the complex situation existing in the offshore area of the Venice lagoon from a geochemical point of view.

The suspended matter seem to be argillaceous in the Southern part of the investigated area and semi-argillaceous with hydrous oxides and carbonates in the Northern part which is influenced by the Piave river.  相似文献

A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method applied short-effective length of capillary (11 cm) and low separation voltage (5 kV) was developed for the fast and quantitative determination of Cl m , $ {\rm NO}_2^ - $ , $ {\rm SO}_4^{2 - } $ , $ {\rm NO}_3^ - $ , $ {\rm HCO}_3^ - $ in snow sample. Baseline separation of inorganic anions and organic anions was achieved within 55 s. Indirect absorbance detection of anions was accomplished with a chromate - based background electrolyte modified with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and acetonitrile at pH 9.5. The effect of the pH, the concentration of electrolyte and modifiers on the resolution was investigated. The application of electrokinetic injection using butyric acid as internal standard created the described method fast, sensitive, and quantitative, with good relative standard deviation (RSD), for migration times from 0.1 to 0.3% and for peak areas from 1.8 to 4.0%. The limits of detection (LOD) were 0.03 mg L m 1 Cl m , 0.1 mg L m 1 $ {\rm NO}_2^ - $ , 0.07 mg L m 1 $ {\rm SO}_4^{2 - } $ , 0.08 mg L m 1 $ {\rm NO}_3^ - $ , 0.05 mg L m 1 F m , and 0.2 mg L m 1 $ {\rm HCO}_3^ - $ , respectively. Standard addition recoveries of Cl m , $ {\rm NO}_2^ - $ , $ {\rm SO}_4^{2 - } $ , $ {\rm NO}_3^ - $ , F m , and $ {\rm HCO}_3^ - $ in snow sample were between 91 and 104%. This method has been shown promising results for the determination of small anions in snow sample.  相似文献

The deteriorated area of the multicrystalline silicon (mc‐Si) ingots grown by directional solidification, commonly known as the Red Zone, is usually removed before wafering. This area, characterized by poor minority carrier lifetime, is located on the sides, at the top, and the bottom of the mc‐Si ingots. In this study, the effect of internal gettering by oxygen precipitates and structural defects has been investigated on the bottom zone of a mc‐Si ingot. Nucleation and growth of oxygen precipitates as well as low temperature annealing were studied. Photoluminescence imaging, lifetime mapping, and interstitial iron measurements performed by μ‐PCD reveal a considerable reduction of the bottom Red Zone. An improvement of lifetime from below 1 µs to about 20 µs and a reduction of interstitial iron concentration from 1.32 × 1013 at/cm3 to 8.4 × 1010 at/cm3 are demonstrated in this paper. In an Approximately Synchronized Code Division Multiple Access (AS-CDMA) communication system, a family with large number of Zero Correlation Zone (ZCZ) sequences is desired, which can satisfy the rapid increase of users. This paper presents a method to generate a (2L,2M, ZCZ')-ZCZ sequence family from an original (L,M,ZCZ)-ZCZ sequence family, where ZCZ' = ZCZ if ZCZ is even and ZCZ' =ZCZ - 1 if ZCZ is odd. This method can also recursively act on a ZCZ sequence family to construct a series of ZCZ sequence families with large sequence number and zero correlation zone length identical to or one less than that of original ZCZ sequences.  相似文献

本文用菲涅耳半波带法推导出了一个非常有用的次极大位置公式,将该位置公式和振幅矢量法求出的次极大位置结合起来,方便地求出了缝间干涉因子的次极大的强度,证明了缝向干涉因子的次极大强度具有对称性。避免了对振幅矢量法求次极大位置这个方程的直接求解,因为用该方法求出的次极大强度与理论值完全符合,说明菲涅耳半波带法不但可以用来分析单缝衍射,同时还完全能够用来分析光栅衍射。  相似文献

菲涅尔区相位修正结构具有类似于二次曲面的聚焦特性和更好的偏轴扫描特性,将该结构与馈源阵列相组合,并通过用改进的LMS算法对馈源阵列输出的自适应信号处理,实现了对来波方向的估计和数字波束形成,从而构成了一类新型的多波束自适应天线。计算机模拟的有关结果证实了其可行性。  相似文献
