With the development of next generation network (NGN), reasonable service quality evaluation is essential in network management. Based on NGN service characteristics, this article presents a comprehensive service quality evaluation system from two perspectives: quantitative and qualitative. From the quantitative point of view, this article brings forward the normalized service level achievement function (NSLA function) at technical layer. Also, with mean opinion score (MOS) mode, it proposes customer satisfaction assessment methods at customer perception layer. From the qualitative perspective, a hierarchical model is established, which forms mapping relations from the upper customer perception to the lower service quality parameters, and then the influence of different service parameters on customer satisfaction degree can be denoted by the fuzzy analysis hierarchy process (FAHP) algorithm. Quantitative and qualitative evaluations together form a comprehensive solution which is universal, customer-oriented and flexible. Demonstrated by the representative voice service, the proposed system is proved reliable and applicable to service evaluation in NGN.  相似文献

The increasing popularity of video gaming competitions, the so called eSports, has contributed to the rise of a new type of end-user: the passive game video streaming (GVS) user. This user acts as a passive spectator of the gameplay rather than actively interacting with the content. This content, which is streamed over the Internet, can suffer from disturbing network and encoding impairments. Therefore, assessing the user’s perceived quality, i.e the Quality of Experience (QoE), in real-time becomes fundamental. For the case of natural video content, several approaches already exist that tackle the client-side real-time QoE evaluation. The intrinsically different expectations of the passive GVS user, however, call for new real-time quality models for these streaming services. Therefore, this paper presents a real-time Reduced-Reference (RR) quality assessment framework based on a low-complexity psychometric curve-fitting approach. The proposed solution selects the most relevant, low-complexity objective feature. Afterwards, the relationship between this feature and the ground-truth quality is modelled based on the psychometric perception of the human visual system (HVS). This approach is validated on a publicly available dataset of streamed game videos and is benchmarked against both subjective scores and objective models. As a side contribution, a thorough accuracy analysis of existing Objective Video Quality Metrics (OVQMs) applied to passive GVS is provided. Furthermore, this analysis has led to interesting insights on the accuracy of low-complexity client-based metrics as well as to the creation of a new Full-Reference (FR) objective metric for GVS, i.e. the Game Video Streaming Quality Metric (GVSQM).  相似文献

To resolve the difficulty in accurately measure the length of video initial buffering queue,two video platforms,non-encrypted Youku and encrypted YouTube,were selected to research,and the video initial buffer queue length measurement method was proposed.By identifying and analyzing the characteristics of video traffic,correlating the traffic behavior with the playing state,constructing video fingerprint database,accurate measurement of queue length was realized.The experimental results show that the measurement results of the two types could be accurate to the frame,fully meeting the need to accurately evaluate the quality of the video experience.  相似文献

An electro-absorption (EA) modulator is one of key components for optical fiber communications due to the high speed, small size, low voltage and integration ability with other semiconductor devices. A 40 Gb/s InGaAsP/InP multiple-quantum-well (MQW) EA modulator monolithically integrated with a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) was fabricated for digital communications. The modulator capacitance was reduced to obtain 40 GHz bandwidth, and the SOA section helped reduce the insertion loss from 18 dB to 3 dB. InGaAlAs/InP MQW EA modulators have also been fabricated and characterized for analog optical fiber communications. A low driving voltage of 2.7 V and high spurious free dynamic range of 107 dB·Hz^2/3 were estimated by static and dynamic measurements.  相似文献
