The composition of solvent mixtures employed in the paint industry was determined by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry. A procedure based on the use of the ratio between the absorbance of characteristic bands of each component permits the ratio between two solvents in a binary mixture to be determined, independently of the thickness of the sample film. Typical mixtures of xylol with butan-1-ol and with butyl acetate (xylol=mixture of o-, m- and p-xylenes) were used as model systems to develop the proposed procedure and the accuracy was determined using synthetic formulations. Another possible application of the procedure is the characterization of azeotropic mixtures. 相似文献

A fast procedure has been developed for the direct determination of paint solvents. The method is based on the injection of small volumes of untreated solvent mixtures into a heated Pyrex glass reactor in which the sample is volatilized and introduced by means of a flow of nitrogen into an IR multiple pass gas cell and the spectrum in the mid-IR region is registered as a function of time. Data found for samples are interpolated in calibration graphs obtained by injecting different volumes of pure compounds which constitute the solvent mixture. A methylisobutylketone (MIBK) toluene mixture was used as test system to develop the proposed procedure. The method provides a limit of detection of the order of 1–4 μg, a relative standard deviation of the order of 0.4 to 2% for five independent measurements, and recovery percentage values from 99.8 till 103.6 %. A commercial sample of polyurethane paint solvent has been analysed by the developed procedure. 相似文献

激光除漆是一种高效、清洁的新型清洗技术,对激光除漆物理过程和机理的研究是该技术发展的关键。基于LIBS技术,测量得到油漆去除过程中等离子体的发光光谱,计算出油漆样品去除前后等离子体的电子密度和温度,研究了油漆中特征元素对应的光谱特征峰强度随时间的变化情况。结果表明,随着激光作用脉冲数量的增加,油漆去除深度逐渐增加,等离子体电子密度和温度在将漆去除干净的最后几个脉冲作用时呈下降趋势。油漆中Ti元素的所对应的特征峰信号持续时间为2个μs,油漆去除前后信号强度呈现跳跃减少,该现象可用于快速、准确、实时的判断油漆去除情况。 相似文献

Dynamic speckle has been used in recent years to analyse several transient processes that are produced in industrial and biological applications. We present here a numerical simulation to generate a temporal sequence of dynamic speckle patterns which is based on a model used for speckle formation by the superposition of waves from discrete scattering centres. It is demonstrated that the first and second statistics of the intensity of each speckle image, the time history of the speckle pattern, the temporal evolution of the correlation coefficient, and the power spectral density of the intensity generated by the proposed model reproduce quite well those obtained from experimentally recorded data. The process of a fast drying paint is presented as an example of the application of the proposed numerical model. 相似文献

Influence of rheological additives on char formation and fire resistance of intumescent coatings 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Styrene-butyl acrylate copolymer based fire retardant coatings were prepared using intumescent flame-retardant additives and mineral clay type rheological additives. Three different widely used nanoclays, organic-modified montmorillonite, palygorskite and sepiolite were applied in order to determine their effect on the flame retardancy. Significant differences were found when their heat-shielding activities were evaluated. It was observed that the addition of different clay particles in amount of 0.25 w% changes the char formation process; the height, the morphology, the structure and also the mechanical resistance of the protecting shield. The different geometry and composition of the additives induced different changes in fire performance. In case of palygorskite the catalytic effect of Fe accelerated mainly the thermal decomposition, therefore the fire resistance decreased. The plate-like montmorillonite reduced the extent of the intumescent char, whereas also improved the mechanical and sustained heat resistance of the fire protecting shield. The fibrous sepiolite of low Fe content assisted the development of efficient protecting shield, which exhibited optimal cell structure, suitable thickness, and thus ensured better heat-insulating performance. Consequently, fire retardant effect of sepiolite was found to be better than the other studied clay types. 相似文献

Fragments of wall-paintings from Roman villas in Easton Maudit, which date from ca 150 AD have been studied by Raman spectroscopy.
An intact ancient Roman paint pot discovered in the remains of a villa in Castor, Cambridgeshire, still containing a mixture
of white and red pigment was also analysed and the pigments identified as haematite and anatase. The discovery of anatase
in the intact artist’s paint pot, particularly, and also on fragments of broken paint pots from the Easton Maudit villa site,
is a unique contribution to current knowledge of ancient European pigment history, because the presence of this mineral has
not hitherto been recognised fully in an ancient artist’s palette. The relative spectral response of anatase and haematite
in the Raman data is compared with that of anatase and other red pigments such as minium, cinnabar, and litharge. 相似文献

We study the following problem: an instance is a word with every letter occurring twice. A solution is a 2-coloring of its letters such that the two occurrences of every letter are colored with different colors. The goal is to minimize the number of color changes between adjacent letters.This is a special case of the paint shop problem for words, which was previously shown to be NP-complete. We show that this special case is also NP-complete and even APX-hard. Furthermore, derive lower bounds for this problem and discuss a transformation into matroid theory enabling us to solve some specific instances within polynomial time. 相似文献
