Laser-pulse transient measurements have been performed at single crystalline n-PtS2 electrodes with the aim of understanding light-induced hydroxide, oxide and oxygen formation. Different detected time constants permit the identification of distinct reaction products. They form surface states which function both as centers for recombination and charge accumulation in the interface. The rate constants determined are influenced by the RC-constant of the measuring circuit and can be interpreted only qualitatively. In the presence of recombination processes time constants faster than RLCSC are found. Evidence is given that the reaction step leading to oxygen evolution is dependent on the building-up of an electric field in the Helmholtz layer. This result may be of importance for the development of materials for the photoelectrolysis of water.  相似文献

Kinetic and thermodynamic aspects of the axial base dissociation of solid Co(salen) (X-py) complexes, X = H (1), 3-Me (2), 4-Me (3), 3,4-Me2 (4), 3,5-Me2 (5), 3-NH2 (6), 3-Cl (7), 3-CN (8), 4-CN (9), have been investigated by means of TG-DSC and isothermal weight-loss measurements. These adducts endothermically dissociate the axial base giving rise to the oxygen-active Co(salen) complex. The axial base dissociation reactions fit the contracting disc equation and the kinetic compensation effect is observed for all the adducts excepting Adducts 4–6. For the remaining adducts the kinetic and thermodynamic stabilities of the Co-(X-py) bond are found to increase linearly with increasing Hammett's substitution constants of X except for Adducts 3 and 9. These results are discussed in terms of the σ and π interactions between cobalt(II) and substituted pyridine. Factors dominating the kinetic bond stability are briefly discussed.  相似文献

The determination of nickel in various silicate rocks and glasses by photon activation analysis with a linear electron accelerator is described. Simultaneous irradiation of the sample and comparative standards produces the 58Ni(γ, n)57Ni reaction, and a post-irradiation chemical separation is used in conjunction with Ge(Li) γ-spectrometry. Nickel abundances for ten standard silicate rocks and two elementally doped glasses are presented and compared with the data previously published. The method is quite simple and gives good reproducible results for nickel down to sub-p.p.m. levels.  相似文献

Equilibria and kinetics for the extraction of nickel(II) and copper(II) by 2-hydroxy-5-nonylbenzophenone oxime (LIX 65N) in seven organic solvent systems were studied in order to test the validity of several hypotheses related to the role of the solvent in equilibrium and kinetic aspects of metal chelate extraction. For the nickel—LIX 65N system, the extraction constant is essentially independent of the solvent system, whereas for the copper—LIX 65N system, the extraction constant is not independent of solvent; this indicates that while the stoichiometry of the nickel chelate remains the same in all solvents, that of copper does not. The observed rate constant for the nickel—LIX 65N extraction was found to vary inversely with the LIX 65N distribution constant as predicted from a mechanism involving slow formation of the 1:1 complex. The observed reaction rate constant for the copper—LIX 65N varied inversely with the square of the distribution constant, also in accordance with the previously postulated mechanism of the slow formation of the 2:1 copper complex. This study, therefore, unequivocally eliminates the interfacial mechanism in favor of the homogeneous chemical reaction mechanism for the extraction of metal ions by LIX 65N, as well as by other similar high-molecular-weight extractants.  相似文献

The monomeric ν(N—H) vibrations of various trisubstituted ureas of the R2UPh type and -thioureas of the R2TUPh type have been studied. The trans—out isomerism in the former and the trans—out—cis isomerism in the latter are discussed from the point of view of steric effect. The monomeric ν(N—H) vibrations of RPhUPh and RPhTUPh are also examined. The single band appearing in the spectrum of both ureas is characteristic of the cis form; this suggests the existence of phenyl—phenyl interaction (the stacking interaction proposed by Galabov et al. [10]). Behavior of ν(N—H) vibrations at several concentrations is shown to be clearly different in the three forms (trans, out and cis). The presence of the cis form is confirmed by solvent effect experiments.  相似文献

 The background to the establishment of the Japan Accreditation Board for Conformity Assessment (JAB) is reviewed in relation to the latest global developments in conformity assessment activities. JAB (known as the Japan Accreditation Board for Quality System Registration at the time of its establishment) was established in 1993 as the accreditation body for quality system registration, the focal point for conformity assessment in the private sector in Japan. The extension of the area of accreditation was made in June 1996, covering all conformity assessment activities including laboratory accreditation, which resulted in the amendment of the name of the body to the current one. A rapid spectrophotometric method has been developed for the stepwise determination for mercury, cadmium, and zinc in mixtures. Optimal conditions have been established for the extraction efficiency of cadmium and mercury with a chloroform solution of tribenzylamine pre-equilibrated with hydrobromic acid. After addition of dithizone solution to the organic layers the absorbance at 490 nm or 510 nm is measured for mercury or cadmium, respectively. Even when the ratio of mercury, cadmium, and zinc is 10-1 : 1 : 10-5 , the metals can be determined successively.  相似文献
