Cooperative advertising in a distribution channel with fairness concerns   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Cooperative (co-op) advertising has been widely used in practice and employed as a strategy to improve the performance of a distribution channel. It is known from the existing models that co-op advertising could not achieve the channel coordination (i.e., maximize the total channel profit). In this paper, we consider a distribution channel consisting of a single manufacturer and a single retailer, and investigate the effect of the retailer’s fairness concerns. Applying the equilibrium analysis, we obtain the following results: (1) Channel coordination can be achieved if the retailer has fairness concerns and model parameters satisfy certain conditions. (2) Although both channel members become better off with co-op advertising if neither channel member has fairness concerns, we find situations where co-op advertising brings detrimental effects to the retailer if the retailer has fairness concerns. (3) The retailer’s fairness concerns may increase or decrease the equilibrium participation rate, the equilibrium advertising effort, and the equilibrium profit of the manufacturer and the whole channel. (4) We identify the conditions under which the effectiveness of co-op advertising can be improved or reduced by the retailer’s fairness concerns. As long as co-op advertising can bring extra profit to the manufacturer, the retailer’s fairness concerns could improve the effectiveness of the co-op advertising. (5) There exists a Pareto improvement for the profits of both the manufacturer and the retailer when a retailer without fairness concerns becomes fair-minded.  相似文献

With the increasing popularity of image-based social networking applications (apps), such as Snapchat and Instagram, social media users express multifaceted aspects of their self-concept online, while remaining concerned about privacy issues. This study investigates the determinants behind the choice to use a social networking site (SNS) platform and predicts that the type of self an individual wants to express through the platform and their level of privacy concerns will play an important role in this choice. A total of 547 SNS users completed an online survey. Expression of multiple aspects of the self – true, actual, and ideal self – and online privacy concerns were empirically tested as the key determinants of SNS platform choice. The findings show that the expression of true and actual self are significant determinants for using Snapchat as a primary SNS, whereas the expression of ideal self and greater privacy concerns are associated with active Instagram use. The authors discuss the implications of these findings and recommend future research.  相似文献

当供应链中的企业都是完全理性时,一个合理设计的期权合约可使得供应链达到协调。本文考虑一个具有公平关切的零售商的供应链系统,分析期权合约下零售商的订货决策,以及使供应链达到协调的条件。研究发现,零售商的公平关切偏好对期权合约的协调作用有着显著的影响:尽管与完全理性的供应链系统相比,可协调供应链的期权合约的定价规则没有变化,但是随着零售商公平关切程度的提高,供应商可能获得的最大利润减小,协调性期权合约的可选择范围不断缩小,直至消失.算例分析进一步验证了以上结论,并说明了即使存在协调性期权合约,零售商可能会因为对不公平的厌恶而极大降低自身效用,出现负的效用值,导致该合约被拒绝。  相似文献

Also known as the privacy paradox, recent research on online behavior has revealed discrepancies between user attitude and their actual behavior. More specifically: While users claim to be very concerned about their privacy, they nevertheless undertake very little to protect their personal data. This systematic literature review explores the different theories on the phenomenon known as the privacy paradox.Drawing on a sample of 32 full papers that explore 35 theories in total, we determined that a user’s decision-making process as it pertains to the willingness to divulge privacy information is generally driven by two considerations: (1) risk-benefit evaluation and (2) risk assessment deemed be none or negligible. By classifying in accordance with these two considerations, we have compiled a comprehensive model using all the variables mentioned in the discussed papers. The overall findings of the systematic literature review will investigate the nature of decision-making (rational vs. irrational) and the context in which the privacy paradox takes place, with a special focus on mobile computing. Furthermore, possible solutions and research limitation issues will be discussed.  相似文献

研究公平关切行为偏好对闭环供应链定价策略的影响,分别基于成员公平中性、制造商公平关切以及两者同时公平关切三种情况,构建了相应的利润决策模型。通过对均衡结果的分析比较发现:随着供应链成员企业公平关切程度的增大,新产品的批发价及零售价均会随之增加,但新产品销量及废旧产品回收率却随之减少;其次,制造商公平关切程度的增加始终促进自身利润及效用的增加,但却对主导零售商及闭环供应链系统的总利润造成了不利影响。  相似文献

在传统的供应链研究中引入零售商公平关切态度,以核心供应商的利润作为公平关切参考点建立零售商的期望效用函数模型,研究三种市场需求模式下零售商公平关切行为倾向对供应链运作的影响。研究结果表明:公平关切零售商的最优定价随公平关切因子和批发价的增加而增大,最优订货随公平关切因子和批发价的增加而减少;传统的批发价契约不能对供应链进行协调,满足一定条件下回购契约可以对公平关切的供应链进行协调;最后,通过数值例子对理论结果进行验证。得到的研究结论可为现实物流企业提供一定的理论参考。  相似文献

基于对软件框架的研究和电信软件的分析提出了一种应用于电信软件开发的构件组装框架(COSFoTS),阐述了COSFoTS的整体框架结构和关键设计,包括内核的总线结构,构件的正交化分解,使用应用逻辑描述语言(ALDL)描述构件组合形成应用逻辑的组装机制,并进一步说明了基于COSFoTS的软件开发流程。COSFoTS的原型系统在电信核心网软件“支持多媒体和移动业务的软交换系统”的开发中得以应用。实践表明COSFoTS能有效简化电信软件的开发,提高电信软件开发的效率。  相似文献

Home Internet of Things (IoT) services are expected to augment the efficiency and comfort of users’ daily lives; however, this expectation is eclipsed by concerns regarding privacy and vulnerability. While these concerns critically impact the acceptance of IoT services for the home, they have been discussed primarily from a traditional point of view; academic discussions of privacy and vulnerability in the current environment are lacking. This study extends existing privacy and vulnerability theories to demonstrate the importance of physical privacy and user vulnerability protections in home IoT environments. To validate the proposed research model, an empirical analysis was conducted on 265 samples with a partial least squares structural equation modeling technique. The differences in vulnerability factors, along with privacy concerns and resistance to home IoT services, were also compared by gender, experience, and type of housing. Results show that user vulnerability has the strongest impact on home IoT privacy concerns and resistance to home IoT environments. Additionally, this study found that personal factors appear differently across vulnerabilities, privacy concerns, and home IoT resistance. This study extends the traditional concepts of privacy and vulnerability to the home IoT environment.  相似文献
