基于VW2010芯片的嵌入式多媒体监控系统压缩/解压卡设计

在简要分析了多媒体监控系统发展现状的基础上，提出了一种基于VW2010压缩／解压芯片的多媒体压缩／解压卡的设计方案，给出了基于VW2010的多媒体监控系统压缩和解压卡的硬件结构图以及在Linux系统下VW2010的驱动程序，同时给出了在Linux Redhat7．3下编写的测试程序，并进行了全面的测试。     

运动估计块匹配两级搜索算法

根据视频图像相邻块在空间上具有很大的相关性,吸收了矢量预测块匹配的核心思想,提出一种两级块匹配运动估计算法,在第一级中,首先根据矢量预测确定一个小区域,然后在此区域内进行快速搜索,如果在第一级中没有搜索到匹配块则进行第二级搜索,该算法可大大提高搜索速度.     

M2OVQA: Multi-space signal characterization and multi-channel information aggregation for quality assessment of compressed omnidirectional videos

Considering the high requirements for omnidirectional video compression, we propose an objective quality evaluation method to assess quality loss in encoding omnidirectional videos. According to characteristics of 360° videos, we consider multi-space signal characterization (MSSC) to fully characterize the distortions of video signals from spatial/image domains to frequency domains and from image content to motion information, and further consider multi-channel information aggregation (MCIA) to fuse scores from multiple projection planes and temporal divided groups. The main innovation of our method is to establish a universal framework in bridging the connection between typical quality assessment and 360° quality assessment to measure 360° video quality effectively and efficiently. Experimental results show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art 2D quality metrics and quality metrics for omnidirectional images.     

Interaction between the antibacterial compound,oleuropein, and model membranes

Oleuropein, a secoiridoid glycoside extracted from the olive tree, Olea europaea L., has been described as showing antibacterial properties. However, the exact mechanism of these antimicrobial properties is not yet well understood. In the present study, we have studied the interaction of oleuropein with phosphatidylglycerol (PG) as a model membrane for Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) (Gram-positive bacteria) and phosphatidylethanolamine and Escherichia coli (E. coli) lipid extract as a model membrane for E. coli (Gram-negative bacteria). The study has been carried out using monolayers as model membranes and using kinetics at constant area and compression isotherms with Brewster angle microscopy (BAM) observations. The results show that oleuropein interacts in higher extent with PG monolayers, which is related with its stronger antibacterial effect against Gram-positive bacteria. The effects on the membrane are probably produced at the cell surface because oleuropein did not form stable mixed monolayers with the lipids assayed at the air/water interface.     

Separation of ortho-substituted tetraphenylporphyrins by preparative HPLC

Summary A method for the separation of substituted tetraphenylporphyrins by preparative liquid chromatography is reported. The quality of the columns formed by axial compression of various stationary phases is tested.

Oriented total variation l1/2 regularization

Total Variation (TV) is a widely used image restoration/decomposition model. It is observed that the classical TV l1 and TV l2 regularization, on the one hand, do not favor higher-gradient structures over lower-gradient details as expected for structure preserving image processing, and on the other hand, tend to reduce the horizontal and vertical gradients, and thus inevitably blur the oblique edges in images. In this paper, we address these two problems by defining Oriented Total Variation l1/2 (OTV l1/2). It is theoretically and experimentally demonstrated that applying l1/2 regularization to the directional derivatives of images leads to superior structure preservation. OTV l1/2 regularization can be applied to image denoising and video compression, and the experimental results verify that OTV l1/2 outperforms other similar models.     

Transimpedance amplifier with a compression stage for wide dynamic range optical applications

A high dynamic input transimpedance amplifier was implemented in 130 nm CMOS technology. The proposed TIA is an inverter with a diode connected NMOS and a gate controlled PMOS loads which is cascode connected with the inverter. The square law compression NMOS increases the input photocurrent up to 10 mA. The TIA has an integrated input referred noise current of 135 nA, 227 MHz bandwidth. The TIA shows a transimpedance gain of 59 dBΩ and a 97 dB dynamic range. The TIA consumes 2.3 mA from 1.5 V voltage supply.
