Thin films of block copolymers have been used as templates and scaffolds for the fabrication of arrays of nanostructured materials. In general, a chemical modification of the film or the removal of one of the components by photodegradative methods is required to produce a nanoporous film that serves as a template or scaffold. Here, however, the preferential interaction of one of the components with a solvent is shown to produce a reconstruction of the block copolymer film that, upon drying, leads to the generation of a nanoporous template. The area density of the pores is identical to that of the original copolymer thin film. Since no chemical reactions occurr, the process is fully reversible. Upon heating the copolymer film above its glass‐transition temperature, mobility is imparted to the copolymer and the original copolymer film with oriented domains is recovered. The film reconstruction significantly simplifies the generation of nanoporous templates.  相似文献

A method of patterning large arrays of organic single crystals is reported. Using single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) bundles as patterned templates, several organic semiconductor materials were successfully patterned, including p‐type pentacene, tetracene, sexiphenylene, and sexithiophene, as well as n‐type tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). This study suggests that the selective growth of crystals onto patterned carbon nanotubes is most likely due to the coarse topography of the SWNT bundles. Moreover, we observed that the crystals nucleated from SWNT bundles and grew onto SWNT bundles in a conformal fashion. The dependence of the number of crystals on the quantity of SWNT bundles is also discussed. The crystal growth can be directly applied onto transistor source‐drain electrodes and arrays of organic single‐crystal field effect transistors are demonstrated. The results demonstrate the potential of utilizing carbon nanotubes as nucleation templates for patterning a broad range of organic materials for applications in optoelectronics.  相似文献

The fabrication of hierarchically structured Ni(OH)2 monolayer hollow‐sphere arrays with the shell composed of building blocks of nanoflakelets is reported on p. 644 by Weiping Cai and co‐workers. The morphology can be easily controlled by the synthesis parameters, and the arrays show a tunable optical transmission stop band. Tuning can be achieved by changing the size or morphology of the hollow spheres. Such arrays may have potential applications in optical devices, photonic crystals, and as sensors for gas detection. The fabrication of a hierarchically structured Ni(OH)2 monolayer hollow‐sphere array with the shell composed of building blocks of nanoflakelets is demonstrated based on a colloidal monolayer and electrochemical deposition. The morphology can be easily controlled by the colloidal monolayer and deposition parameters. Importantly, such monolayer hollow‐sphere array shows a morphology‐ and size‐dependent tunable optical transmission stop band. This stop band can be easily tuned from 455–1855 nm by changing the size of the hollow spheres between 1000 and 4500 nm, and also fine‐adjusted by changing the deposition time. The array exhibits a nearly incident‐angle‐independent position of the stop band that 3D photonic crystals do not possess. This structure may have potential applications in optical devices, photonic crystals, and sensors for gas detection.  相似文献

We study the optical absorption of arrays of quantum dots and antidots in a perpendicular homogeneous magnetic field. The electronic system is described quantum mechanically using a Hartree approximation for the mutual Coulomb interaction of the electrons. The evolution of the absorption is traced from the homogeneous to the strongly modulated case identifying the ensuing collective modes, the magnetoplasmons, and their correlations with inherent length scales of the system.  相似文献

A new method is presented to estimate two-dimensional (2-D) Direction-of-Arrival (DOA) angles of narrowband real-valued signals impinging on a L-shape Arrays(LA). The basic idea of the proposed method is to increase both the effective aperture size and the number of sensors by employing the conjugate invariance property of real-valued signals. Thus, the proposed method can provide a more precise DOA and detect more signals than the Cross-Correlation Matrix Method (CCMM). 首先控制聚苯乙烯纳米球(PS球)乳液在基片上的干燥温度,采用自组装方法,使用单一粒径的PS球制备出单层的PS球亚稳态正方排列结构模板。然后,在模板上通过磁控溅射法沉积一层银膜。利用纳米球光刻技术,去掉PS球模板得到二维正方点阵排列的准正方形银纳米颗粒阵列结构。  相似文献
