Regiospecific introduction of the 2-naphthyl residue into position 4 of the pyridine ring occurs in the reactions of isoquinolinium salts with 4-methylpyridinium salts through the intermolecular transformation of the isoquinoline bicyclic system involving the methyl group of the pyridinium salt. The reaction occurs under the action of methylammonium sulfite in an aqueous medium on heating. A piezoelectric method is proposed for the determination of sulfite in concentration range 1 × 10–7–1 × 10–5 mol/1. The method is based on the redox reaction of sulfite with iodine followed by measuring frequency change of the piezoelectric crystal caused by the unreacted iodine. A simple and novel electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) method for the determination of sulfite has been developed based on the energy transfer ECL process. It was found that a weak ECL signal of sulfite was electrochemically generated on a platinum electrode in neutral aqueous solution. The signal was strongly enhanced by rhodamine B as an energy receptor and further enhanced by the neutral surfactant Tween 80. In 0.10M phosphate buffer solution (pH=7.5) containing 2.0×10–6gmL–1 rhodamine B and 0.4% (v/v) Tween 80, the ECL response to the concentration of sulfite at a potential of 0.82V was linear over a range of 1.0×10–7gmL–1 to 8.0×10–6gmL–1, and the detection limit was 5×10–8gmL–1. The relative standard deviation (n=11, 1.0×10–6gmL–1) was 3.8%. Pressure pulsation (PP) was investigated for its effects on oxygen transfer rate (OTR) measured by sulfite oxidation. By manipulating
airflow rate, 0.41–1.2 vvm, and a control valve in a 4-L bioreactor, the frequency of PP was varied at different gas pressures3–15
psig. A mathematical model of OTR was built and compared to experimental data. OTR was also examined at constant gas pressure,
4.5–15.0 psig. The results indicate a good agreement between measurement and model prediction. OTR above 9 psig during PP
showed significant enhancement at 25°C. This proves that PP not only affects the elevation of DO level, but also increases

The kinetics and mechanism of the reaction of SIV (SO32?+HSO3?) with a ruthenium(VI) nitrido complex, [(L)RuVI(N)(OH2)]+ (RuVIN, L=N,N′‐bis(salicylidene)‐o‐cyclohexyldiamine dianion), in aqueous acidic solutions are reported. The kinetic results are consistent with parallel pathways involving oxidation of HSO3? and SO32? by RuVIN. A deuterium isotope effect of 4.7 is observed in the HSO3? pathway. Based on experimental results and DFT calculations the proposed mechanism involves concerted N?S bond formation (partial N‐atom transfer) between RuVIN and HSO3? and H+ transfer from HSO3? to a H2O molecule. 相似文献

A simple and novel flow‐injection chemiluminescence (FI‐CL) method was established for the determination of 2‐Methoxyestradiol (2‐ME) in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids. The method was based on the significant enhancement of the CL from the KMnO4‐Na2SO3 reaction by 2‐ME in acidic medium. Under optimized conditions, the CL intensity was correlated linearly with concentration of 2‐ME in the range of 5.0 × 10?8‐5.0 × 10?6 M (r = 0.9995). The detection limit (3σ) of 2‐ME was 7.5 × 10?9 M and the relative standard deviation was 0.8% at 5.0 × 10?7 M 2‐ME (n = 8). The proposed method was successfully applied for the flow‐injection CL determination of 2‐ME in pharmaceutical preparations and biological fluids with the recoveries from 92.4 to 106.8%. The possible CL reaction mechanism was also discussed briefly. 相似文献
