A Singer cycle in GL(n,q) is an element of order q permuting cyclically all the nonzero vectors. Let be a Singer cycle in GL(2n,2). In this note we shall count the number of lines in PG (2n-1,2) whose orbit under the subgroup of index 3 in the Singer group is a spread. The lines constituting such a spread are permuted cyclically by the group 3, hence gives rise to a flag-transitive 2-(22n ,4,1) design.  相似文献

Vocal Fold Polyp in a Professional Brass/Wind Instrumentalist and Singer   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Wind instrumentalists, especially brass players, and singers share common factors, including vocal tract shape, function and pressure, vocal fold opening and closure, breath vector of force and air flow rates. To understand the mechanism and function of the vocal folds with a pathological lesion, it is necessary to visualize the differing interactions of the vocal tract during wind and brass instrument playing and in singing. A school band director, singer, wind and brass instrumentalist, was referred by musician colleagues with intermittent dysphonia, aphonia, and inability to sing high notes. Simultaneous videolaryngoscopy, with and without stroboscopy, and external video examination were documented. An hourglass glottis with a sessile, cystic polyp of the left vocal fold were recorded and studied during phonation and the playing of 3 instruments. The techniques of glottic opening, closure, configuration and function varied with the type of instrument and phonatory function. Singing was adversely affected by the vocal fold polyp but no harmful interaction occurred during wind/brass instrument playing. Down-stream loading in singers is at the laryngeal level and in wind/brass instrumentalists is at the embouchure. Preoperative voice therapy, phonomicrosurgery, and postoperative voice rest followed by voice therapy, succeeded in restoring her combined wind/brass instrumental and singing career.  相似文献

Let p be a prime, q=pm and Fq be the finite field with q elements. In this paper, we will consider q-ary sequences of period qn-1 for q>2 and study their various balance properties: symbol-balance, difference-balance, and two-tuple-balance properties. The array structure of the sequences is introduced, and various implications between these balance properties and the array structure are proved. Specifically, we prove that if a q-ary sequence of period qn-1 is difference-balanced and has the “cyclic” array structure then it is two-tuple-balanced. We conjecture that a difference-balanced q-ary sequence of period qn-1 must have the cyclic array structure. The conjecture is confirmed with respect to all of the known q-ary sequences which are difference-balanced, in particular, which have the ideal two-level autocorrelation function when q=p.  相似文献

为了打造校园歌手选拔的线上“生态系统”,完成线上与线下的互动闭环,提出一种基于Android平台与MVC模式的歌手竞赛系统的方法。该系统是客户端/服务器结构的,使用Servlet和JSP技术,并采用了改进的MVC设计模式,将Spring MVC与MyBatis技术结合起来。服务端利用Tomcat搭建Web容器,用开发工具Eclipse对服务器编程,并用MySQL数据库提供数据层应用。该系统在移动终端上进行了测试,可以实现线上报名,上传作品,互动分享,查看排名,以及对选手进行评论,投票等功能。该系统的实现可以使线上歌手竞赛随时随地的进行,从而使参赛过程更加便利和高效。  相似文献

Vocal fold hemorrhage can represent a disastrous and potentially career ending injury to a singer or professional voice user. The risk factors of vocal fold hemorrhage, including laryngeal trauma, phonotrauma, aspirin and nonsteroidal antiinflammatories, and hormonal imbalances are well known. We present a case of an opera singer who developed recurrent vocal fold hemorrhage associated with coumadin anticoagulation therapy. This case highlights the importance of the risk of vocal fold hemorrhage to professional singers and professional voice users and offers an alternative to long-term coumadin therapy in this select population.  相似文献

The main result in Cossidente and Siciliano (J. Number Theory, Vol. 99 (2003) pp. 373–382) states that if a Singer subgroup of PGL(3,q) is an automorphism group of a projective, geometric irreducible, non-singular plane algebraic curve then either or . In the former case is projectively equivalent to the curve with equation Xq+1Y+Yq+1+X=0 studied by Pellikaan. Furthermore, the curve has a very nice property from Finite Geometry point of view: apart from the three distinguished points fixed by the Singer subgroup, the set of its -rational points can be partitioned into finite projective planes . Common problems that are of little consequence to other patients may be disabling to professional singers. Laryngologists must recognize even subtle manifestation of these ailments and be familiar with techniques to treat them without creating undesirable side effects. It is not usually necessary to restrict the trained professional from performing, and absolute voice rest is rarely necessary. Laryngeal surgery should be avoided whenever possible.  相似文献

Criteria for determining the classification of singers in research has posed numerous problems for both researchers and their readership. Previous attempts at creating usable categories have failed because of disagreement within the professions involved in such research. The object of this paper is to explore and suggest a system in which scientific research related to singing is based on a quantifiable singing standard. Use of the systematic categorization set out in this paper will help to alleviate the questions regarding performance abilities of singers used as subjects in scientific projects and lead to more credible results. Nine singer categories have been consolidated and based on proven performance achievement. These categories range from superstar (household name) to local community and amateur singers with comprehensive subcategories under each topic for each type of singer, that is, opera, pop, jazz, etc.  相似文献

本文从解决歌手与乐队竞争的谜团入手,详述了歌剧院乐队演奏(缺乏高频声)和歌剧唱法(高频的歌手共振峰)的声音特点,进而提出了歌手和乐队之间平衡的声学设计(即放大歌手的歌唱声并适当降低乐队的演奏声,观众听起来歌手和乐队之间的声音保持平衡),重点论述了乐池的声学设计。然后分别从提高表演者的相互听闻(为了合奏的同步性)和提高房间的声反馈(为了控制演奏的响度)进行了论述,得出从表演者角度进行声学研究和设计的重要性。  相似文献
