Finite‐size corrections at the hard edge for the Laguerre β ensemble

A fundamental question in random matrix theory is to quantify the optimal rate of convergence to universal laws. We take up this problem for the Laguerre β ensemble, characterized by the Dyson parameter β, and the Laguerre weight , in the hard edge limit. The latter relates to the eigenvalues in the vicinity of the origin in the scaled variable . Previous work has established the corresponding functional form of various statistical quantities—for example, the distribution of the smallest eigenvalue, provided that . We show, using the theory of multidimensional hypergeometric functions based on Jack polynomials, that with the modified hard edge scaling , the rate of convergence to the limiting distribution is , which is optimal. In the case , general the explicit functional form of the distribution of the smallest eigenvalue at this order can be computed, as it can for and general . An iterative scheme is presented to numerically approximate the functional form for general .     

A possible counterexample to well posedness of entropy solutions and to Godunov scheme convergence

A particular case of initial data for the two-dimensional Euler equations is studied numerically. The results show that the Godunov method does not always converge to the physical solution, at least not on feasible grids. Moreover, they suggest that entropy solutions (in the weak entropy inequality sense) are not well posed.

B_2分子X~3Σ_g~-和A~3Σ_u~-态的势能函数

使用SAC/SAC-CI方法,利用D95(d),6-311g**以及cc-PVTZ等基组,对B2分子的基态(X3Σg-)和第一激发态(A3Σu-)的平衡结构和谐振频率进行了优化计算.通过对3个基组的计算结果的比较,得出了D95(d)基组为3个基组中的最优基组的结论;使用D95(d)基组,利用SAC的GSUM(Group Sum of Operators)方法对基态(X3Σg-),SAC-CI的GSUM方法对激发态(A3Σu-)进行单点能扫描计算,用正规方程组拟合Murrell-Sorbie函数,得到了相应电子态的完整势能函数;从得到的势能函数计算了与基态(X3Σg-)和第一激发态(A3Σu-)相对应的光谱常数(Be,αe,ωe和ωeχe),结果与实验数据吻合.

93W合金有关力学参量的综合选评

 对93W合金材料进行了超声测量实验，并结合原有的超声测量结果进行了分析比较，提出了可以直接用冲击波速度关系式的三个系数c₀ 、λ和λ′来对钨合金的有关力学参量，如G₀、K₀、G₀′、K₀′等进行综合选评的方法。得到了一组对93W合金较为合理的力学参量推荐值。
