We present a new computational method with associated computer program TROVE (Theoretical ROVibrational Energies) to perform variational calculations of rovibrational energies for general polyatomic molecules of arbitrary structure in isolated electronic states. The (approximate) nuclear kinetic energy operator is represented as an expansion in terms of internal coordinates. The main feature of the computational scheme is a numerical construction of the kinetic energy operator, which is an integral part of the computation process. Thus the scheme is self-contained, i.e., it requires no analytical pre-derivation of the kinetic energy operator. It is also general, since it can be used in connection with any internal coordinates. The method represents an extension of our model for pyramidal XY3 molecules reported previously [S.N. Yurchenko, M. Carvajal, P. Jensen, H. Lin, J.J. Zheng, W. Thiel, Mol. Phys. 103 (2005) 359]. Non-rigid molecules are treated in the Hougen-Bunker-Johns approach [J.T. Hougen, P.R. Bunker, J.W.C. Johns, J. Mol. Spectrosc. 34 (1970) 136]. In this case, the variational calculations employ a numerical finite basis representation for the large-amplitude motion using basis functions that are generated by Numerov-Cooley integration of the appropriate one-dimensional Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

光学-光学双共振激发K2到91∑+g高位态,研究了K2(91∑+g)与H2的电子-振转碰撞能量转移。利用相干反斯托克斯(CARS)光谱技术探测H2的振转态分布,扫描CARS谱表明H2在(1,1)、(2,1)、(2,2)、(3,1)、(3,2)、(3,3)和(3,5)能级上有布居。由时间分辨CARS轮廓得到H2各振转能级上粒子数之比,得到H2的平均振动能和平均转动能分别为9063cm-1和388cm-1。从91∑+g→11∑+u、11∑+u→11∑+g、33∏g→13∑+u跃迁的时间分辨激光感应荧光(LIF)强度得到它们的自发辐射率和碰撞转移率。在H2压强为3×103Pa时,K2(91∑+g)与H2的碰撞转移能为16930cm-1。H2的平均振转能占平均转移能的56%。  相似文献

A neon–neon interatomic potential energy curve was derived from quantum-mechanical ab initio calculations using basis sets of up to t-aug-cc-pV6Z quality supplemented with bond functions and ab initio methods up to CCSDT(Q). In addition, corrections for relativistic effects were determined. An analytical potential function was fitted to the ab initio values and utilised to calculate the rovibrational spectra. The quality of the interatomic potential function was tested by comparison of the calculated spectra with experimental ones and those derived from other potentials of the literature. In a following paper the new interatomic potential is applied in the framework of the quantum-statistical mechanics and of the corresponding kinetic theory to determine selected thermophysical properties of neon governed by two-body and three-body interactions.  相似文献

We study the classical dynamics of the RbCs molecule in the presence of a static electric field. Under the Born–Oppenheimer approximation, we perform a rovibrational investigation which includes the interaction of the field with the molecular polarizability. The stability of the equilibrium points and the phase space structure of the system are explored in detail. We find that, for strong electric fields or for energies close to the dissociation threshold, the molecular polarizability causes relevant effects on the system dynamics.  相似文献

The potential energy curves have been investigated for the 13 lowest sextet electronic states in the representation below 53,000 cm?1 of the molecule CrCl via CASSCF and MRCI (single and double excitation with Davidson correction) calculations. The harmonic frequency ωe, the internuclear distance re, the rotational constant Be, the electronic energy with respect to the ground state Te, and the permanent dipole moment μ have been calculated. By using the canonical functions approach, the eigenvalues Ev, the rotational constant Bv, and the abscissas of the turning points rmin and rmax have been calculated for the considered electronic states up to the vibrational level v = 16. Nine electronic states have been studied theoretically here for the first time. The Hamiltonian describing rotational spectra of linear triatomic molecules has been derived by using the dynamical Lie algebra of symmetry group U1(4) U2(4). After rovibrational interactions being considered, the eigenvalue expression of the Hamiltonian has the form of term value equation commonly used in spectrum analysis. The molecular rotational constants can be obtained by using the expression and fitting it to the observed lines. As an example, the rotational levels of v2 band for transition (02°0-0110) of molecules N2O and HCN have been fitted and the fitting root-mean-square errors (RMS) are 0.00001 and 0.0014 cm-1, respectively.  相似文献

An accurate near-equilibrium potential energy surface (PES) for CNC+ is constructed based on a high-level composite ab initio method. By combining explicitly correlated all-electron CCSD(T)-F12b with scalar relativistic effects and higher order correlation up to coupled cluster theory with singles, doubles, triples and quadruples (CCSDTQ) we achieve convergence in the wavenumbers of the fundamentals to ca. 1 cm?1. Rovibrational energies are calculated in a variational approach and vibrational term energies and rotational constants are in excellent agreement with available experimental data. Accurate values for centrifugal distortion constants of CNC+ in different vibrational states are predicted. Especially the centrifugal distortion constants in the vibrational ground state of D0 = 0.563 · 10?6 cm?1 and H0 = 0.188 · 10?10 cm?1 should be superior to experimentally derived values. Reassignments of some experimentally observed transitions are suggested based on a comparison of experimental and calculated term differences. The bending part of the PES appears to be almost quartic and the band origin of the bending vibration is predicted at 94.2 cm?1. Absolute line intensities are calculated for various transitions in CNC+. For the bending vibration, an intensity is predicted that is three orders of magnitude smaller than for the antisymmetric stretching vibration.  相似文献

给出了一种计A-BC型弱相互作用分子体系的分子间振转激发态的自洽场-组态相互作用(SCF-CI)方法. 首先使用SCF方法代化径向伸缩振动和弯曲振动的基函数,再用CI方法确定精确的振转激发态能级. 在求解-维的伸缩振动SCF方程时,采用Numerov-Johnson算法在给定区间上求解获得振动波函数的数值解. 具体计算了Ar-HCI和Ar-N2体系的振转激发态的能级以验证该方法. 结果表明,本方法可用较少的组态就能获得可与其它大计算量的方法具有相比拟的精度的结果.  相似文献

Aminoborane, H2NBH2 and its isotopologues, H2N10BH2, D2NBD2, and D2N10BD2, have been studied by high-level ab initio methods. All calculations rely on multidimensional potential energy surfaces and dipole moment surfaces including high-order mode coupling terms, which have been obtained from electronic structure calculations at the level of explicitly correlated coupled-cluster theory, CCSD(T)-F12, or the distinguishable cluster approximation, DCSD. Subsequent vibrational structure calculations based on second-order vibrational perturbation theory, VPT2, and vibrational configuration interaction theory, VCI, were used to determine rotational constants, centrifugal distortion constants, vibrationally averaged geometrical parameters and (an)harmonic vibrational frequencies. The impact of core-correlation effects is discussed in detail. Rovibrational VCI calculations were used to simulate the gas phase spectra of these species and an in-depth analysis of the ν7 band of aminoborane is provided. Color-coding is used to reveal the identity of the individual progressions of the rovibrational transitions for this particular mode.  相似文献
