Helicate tris(aryl)carbinolates bearing pendant NR2 donors – a new family of supporting ligands for the synthesis of Sc3+ alkyl complexes

The reactions of aryllithium reagents o-LiC₆H₄CH₂NR₂ with (MeO)₂CO afford two new tris(aryl)carbinols bearing pendant-NR₂ donor groups in the side chain [o-R NCH C H ] COH [R = Me, R + R = (CH) ]. These alcohols feature helical chirality due to differently inclined aromatic fragments and are presented in a crystalline cell as two M and P enantiomers. Carbinol (R = Me) readily reacts with (Me3SiCH2)3Sc(THF)2 to give a scandium bis(alkyl) complex [(o-C₆H₄CH₂NMe₂)₃CO]Sc(CH₂SiMe₃)₂ featuring rigid binding of the alkoxy anion through a κ¹-O, κ²-N chelating coordination mode     

Influence of isovalent substitutions on absorption spectra of orthoferrities

The role of impurity ions in formation of the optical properties of rare-earth orthoferrites is investigated. Optical spectra of the substituted against unsubstituted orthoferrites are presented. The influence of different isovalent substitutions on the optical absorption of orthoferrites that are promising for magnetooptics is studied. 磁学研究与三环公司发展

简要回顾了20世纪20年代以来我国现代磁学研究的历史。20世纪80年代初期正值我国改革开放浪潮之时，科技人员纷纷走上科技成果产业化道路。建立于1985年的中国科学院三环公司就是一个成功的代表，同时好也是我国现代磁学研究结出的一颗硕果。     

Reverse micellar synthesis and properties of nanocrystalline GMR materials (LaMnO3, La0.67Sr0.33MnO3 and La0.67Ca0.33MnO3): Ramifications of size considerations

Nanoparticles of complex manganites (viz. LaMnO₃, La_0.67Sr_0.33MnO₃ and La_0.67Ca{0.33}MnO₃) have been synthesized using the reverse micellar route. These manganites are prepared at 800‡C and the monophasic nature of all the oxides has been established by powder X-ray diffraction studies. TEM studies show an average grain size of 68, 80 and 50 nm for LaMnO₃, La_0.67Sr_0.33MnO₃ and La_0.67Ca{0.33}MnO₃respectively. Ferromagnetic ordering is observed at around 250 K for LaMnO₃, 350 K for La_0.67Sr_0.33MnO₃ and 200 K for La_0.67Ca{0.33}MnO₃. These Curie temperatures correspond well with those reported for bulk materials with similar composition.     

Newby shift ofK=0 rotational bands in odd-odd rare-earths

A data set of 29 experimentally determined Newby shifts in rare-earth nuclei is examined for the reliability of each values. Using this data set, Newby shifts are obtained which are free from the Coriolis and the particle-particle coupling effects. These new empirical values help resolve the failure of a recently proposed rule for the sign of the Newby shift in the {5/2[413]p − 5/2[642]n} configuration of¹⁶⁰Tb and the {5/2[402]p − 5/2[512]n} configuration of¹⁷⁴Lu. Also the Newby shifts are significantly modified in two other cases namely the {1/2[411]p − 1/2[521]n} configuration in¹⁶⁸Tm and the {1/2[541]p − 1/2[521]n} configuration in¹⁷²Lu. Only marginal changes are seen in the rest of the cases in the rare-earth nuclei.     

K2NiF4型结构的A2－xSrxBO4(A＝La, Dy, B＝Mn, Fe, Co, Ni)希土复合氧化物的合成

以典型的轻希土镧和重希土镝及碱土金属锶作为Ａ位离子，以过渡金属锰、铁、钴、镍作为Ｂ位离子，合成了Ｋ２ＮｉＦ４型结构的Ａ２－ｘＳｒｘＢＯ４希土复合氧化物，采用粉末Ｘ射线衍射技术考察了反应条件等因素对生成Ｋ２ＮｉＦ４型四方（Ｔ）结构上析影响，实现结果表明，四方结构的形成不仅与几何因素有关，而且与各组分的物理化学性质有关。各个不同的组成，生成四方相的温度范围也有所不同。适当地提高反应温度以及延长灼烧时间     

Synthesis and spectroscopic study of hexadecaalkyl-substituted rare-earth diphthalocyanines

New hexadecaalkyl-substituted diphthalocyanine complexes of lanthanides ^RPc₂Ln (R = Et, or Bu; Ln = Lu, Dy, or Eu) were synthesized by three methods: in solution in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene, in a melt of a mixture of the reagents, and under microwave irradiation. The first of the above-mentioned procedures has an advantage for the preparation of Dy and Eu diphthalocyanines, whereas the melt synthesis is a method of choice for the preparation of Lu complexes. The reaction time decreases in going from the first to the third method. The structures of the complexes were confirmed by mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, and electronic absorption spectroscopy.     

COORDINATION COPOLYMERIZATION OF STYRENE WITH MALEIC ANHYDRIDE BY RARE-EARTH COORDINATION CATALYSTS

The study on coordination copolymerization of styrene (S) with maleic anhydride (MA) by rare-earth coordination catalysts, NdL_3-Al(i-Bu)_3, has been successfully carried out for the first time. Some features, kinetic behavior, and mechanism of the SMA copolymerization by Nd(naph)_3-Al(i-Bu)_3 system are described and discussed. The copolymex of styrenemaleic anhydride prepared by the NdL_3-Al(i-Bu)_3 systems in benzene at 50℃ is an alternating-rich white powder having high number-average molecular weight of 6—8.5×10~5. The overall activation energy for the polymerization was found to be 10.5KJ/mol. The polymerization was not suppressed by addition of hydroquinone. The catalytic activity of various ligands in NdL_3 for the copolymerization decreases in the following order: Nd (naph)_3>Nd-(P_(507))_3～NdCl_3-6H_2O>Nd(P_(204))_3>Nd(acac)_3. 3H_2O. The experimental results are explained based on a mechanism to be the coordination-type copolymerization in terms of the participation of a monomer-monomer c     

FOURIER TRANSFORM FAR INFRARED SPECTRA AND NORMAL COORDINATE ANALYSIS OF FIFTEEN RARE-EARTH OXALATE HYDRATES

The Fourier transform far infrared spectra of oxalate hydrates of whole rare-earth series except Pm and Sc are investigated in the range of 100-400 cm~(-1). The assignment of vibrational frequencies is made on the basis of normal coordinate analysis using our NORVIB program. The model used for the hghter elements of the lanthanide series (La to Eu) is based on the crystal structure of Nd_2(C_2O_4)_3. 10H_2O, in which each lanthanide ion is surrounded by nine O atoms, six from three oxalate ions and three from Water molecules.The model adopted for the heavier elements of the lanthanide series (Gd to Lu) and Ytterbium is based on the crystal structure of Yb_2(C_2O_4)_3· 6H_2O, in which each ion is surrounded by eight atoms, six from three oxalate ions and two from water molecules. The variation of the metal-ligand frequencies and force constants with the atomic numbers of lanthanides is plotted and discussed.     

RExOy.nH2O对氟离子的吸附性能

La、Ce等稀土水含氧化物对阴离子的吸附性早有研究「‘－‘1，但从混合轻稀土氯化物制得的水合氧化物吸附F一的研究报道较少．为探讨难溶金属水合氧化物的除氟性能，本文以混合轻稀土氯化物为原料，制得其水含氧化物（RExOy·nH。O），采用高聚物造粒，研究了粒状RExOy·nH。O对F一的吸附性能及吸附机理．所用混合轻稀土氯化物由包头钢铁稀土公司提供，其主要组成（以氧化物计）为：CeO。（50％）、Nd。O3（25％）、La。O。（15％）、P36Oll（8％）．聚丙烯睛分子量为（2．5～5）X10‘．其它试剂为分析纯．RExO．·nH。O参照文…
