[PW11ZnO39]5? was immobilized on activated carbon and characterized using Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray diffraction, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller and elemental analysis techniques. Effective oxidation of various alcohols with hydrogen peroxide was performed in the presence of this catalyst. Easy separation of the catalyst from the reaction mixture, cheapness, high activity and selectivity, stability as well as retained activity in subsequent catalytic cycles make this supported catalyst suitable for small‐scale synthesis. Substantial progress has been made recently in extending the supramolecular assembly of biomimetic structures to vesicle-based sophisticated nanocomposites and mesostructures. We report herein the successful preparation of unilamellar surfactant vesicles coated with a monolayer of ring-shaped [Mo(154)] polyoxometalate (POM) nanoclusters, (NH(4))(28)[Mo(154)(NO)(14)O(448)H(14)(H(2)O)(70)]. approximately 350 H(2)O, by coulomb attractions using preformed didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB) surfactant vesicles as templates. The resultant vesicle-templated supramolecular assemblies are robust (they do not disintegrate upon dehydration) both at room-temperature ambient and vacuum conditions, as characterized by conventional transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). The flexibility of the complex soft assemblies was also revealed by AFM measurements. The effect of POM-vesicle coulomb attractions on the dimensions of the templating vesicles was also investigated by using dynamic light scattering (DLS). Although origins of the structure stability of the as-prepared supramolecular assemblies are not clear yet, the nanometer scale cavities and the related properties of macroions of the POM clusters may play an important role in it.  相似文献

In the present paper, on the basis of our work. advances in study of the catalysts of polyacid-type hydrotalcite-like are reported and reviewed. Using polyoxometalates (POM) as pillaring species and layered double hydroxides (LDH) as host matter, a new class of catalytic materials, LDHPOM, has been synthesized by five different methods. Their acidic and oxidative catalytic properties have been investigated by several research groups. The above mentioned information is given in this review.  相似文献

The imidazole covalently coordinated sandwich-type heteropolymngstates Na9[ {Na(H=O2}3{M(C3H4N2)}3( Sb W9O33)2]·xH=O(M=Ni^Ⅱ, Co^Ⅱ, Zn^Ⅱ, Mn^Ⅱ) were obtained by the reaction of Na2WO4·2H2O, SbCl3·6H2O, NiCl2·6H2O [MnSO4·H2O, Co(NO3)2·6H2O, ZnSO4·7H2O] and imidazole at pH≈7.5. The structure of Na9[{Na(H2O)2}3{Ni(C3H4N2)}3(SbW9O33)2]·32H2O was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Polyanion [{Na(H2O)2}3{Ni(C3H4N2)}3(SbW9O33)2}3]^9- has approximate C3v symmetry, imidazole coordinated six-nuclear duster [{Na(H2O)2}3{Ni(C3H4N2)}3]^9+ is encapsulated between two (α-SbW9O33)^9-, the three rings of imidazole in the polyanion are perpendicular to the horizontal plane formed by six metals (Na-Ni-Na-Ni-Na-Ni) in the central belt, and x-stacking interactions exist between imidazoles of neighboring polyanions with dihedral angel of 60%. The compounds were also characterized by IR, UV-Vis spectra, TG and DSC, and the thermal decomposition mechanism of the four compounds was suggested by TG curves.  相似文献

Oxidation of a variety of compounds, including methionine (Met), using a complex formed between dirhodium(II) acetate and the lacunary form of phosphotungstic acid as the catalyst is effective over a wide range of conditions, including pH 2–10. Thus, amperometric detection at a composite in which this complex is immobilized in a sol–gel material does not place restrictions on selection of conditions for separations by reverse-phase HPLC. A demonstration of this point is shown by a study of Met, Met–Phe, Phe–Met, Met–Met, and Gly–Met–Gly (Phe, phenylalanine; Gly, glycine). Using a 0.05 M phosphate buffer at pH 6.7, a C18 column, and a flow rate of 1 ml min−1, capacity factors for Met, Gly–Met–Gly, Met–Met, and Phe–Met were 1.4, 2.1, 5.6, and 34, respectively. The electronic structures and bonding of isopoly oxometalates M6O19 2– (M=Cr, Mo, W) have been investigated by using ab initio and relativistic density functional methods. We have discussed the role of the central oxygen atom and the (d-p) conjugation interactions between the metal and bridging oxygen atoms. It is found that there exist 12 three-centered two-electron (d-p-d) bonds for the three M4(-O)4 planar rings in M6O19 2– ions and these hexametalates are considered to have quasi-aromaticity. The (d-p) conjugation effects play essential role in stabilizing these cluster compounds, and the reduced (d-p) conjugation effects account for the instability of the isopoly oxochromate ion, Cr6O19 2–. The vibrational spectra and electronic spectra of M6O19 2– ions are evaluated and assigned theoretically and the calculated spectra are in fairly good agreement with the measured experimental results.  相似文献

An interesting phenomenon is reported when uranyl peroxide nanoclusters U60 (Li48+mK12(OH)m[UO2(O2)(OH)]60 (H2O)n, m≈20 and n≈310) interact with a small number of cationic surfactant molecules. Cationic surfactant molecules do not distribute evenly around the U60 clusters during the interaction as expected. Instead, a small fraction of U60 clusters attract almost all the surfactant molecules, leading to the self-assembly into supramolecular structures by using surfactant–U60 complexes as building locks, and later further aggregate and precipitate based on hydrophobic interaction, whereas the rest of the clusters remained unbounded soluble macroions in bulk dispersion. This phenomenon nicely demonstrates a unique feature of macroion solutions. Considering that Debye–Hückel approximation is no longer valid in such solutions, the competition between the local electrostatic interaction and hydrophobic interaction becomes important to regulate the solution behaviors of macroions.  相似文献

Single-Molecule Magnet (SMM) property is by essence molecular, while commonly measured in solid crystalline state. Solvent crystallization molecules are usually neglected in the analysis and interpretation of solid-state properties. The solvation/desolvation process in the polyoxometalate(POM)-based Na9[Er(W5O18)2] ⋅ 35 H2O SMM demonstrates that the dehydrated form relaxes more than 1000 times faster than the initial state, while the rehydration process allows the quasi complete recovering of the initial magnetic behaviour. This dehydration process is monitored by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and temperature-dependent X-ray powder diffraction, and rationalized by periodic quantum chemical calculations evidencing the tremendous role of the labile water molecules in the stability of the edifice. Ab-initio calculations highlight that sodium ions localization in the structure drive the magnetic responses. Isotopic enrichment with nuclear spin free (166Er, I=0) ErIII ions shows that the relaxation dynamics in the quantum regime depends on the nuclear spin.  相似文献
