We present a generative swarm art project that creates 3D animations by running a Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm over synthetic landscapes produced by an objective function. Different kinds of functions are explored, including mathematical expressions, Perlin noise-based terrain, and several image-based procedures. A method for displaying the particle swarm exploring the search space in aesthetically pleasing ways is described. Several experiments are detailed and analyzed and a number of interesting visual artifacts are highlighted.  相似文献

A product form design and evaluation model are proposed. In this method, the forms can be evaluated by three sub-evaluation models which can help designers to grasp consumers’ preferences. In the process, the overall shape is first disassembled into several shape elements, and a morphological chart is constructed. Then, the priority of shape elements is analyzed through the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process, and several required combinations are selected from a morphological chart. Moreover, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (I), preference questionnaire (II), and quadratic curvature entropy (III) of the selected combinations are analyzed. Finally, the results of I, II, and III are compared. In conclusion, the three sub-evaluation systems are consistent, which confirms the applicability of the proposed model.  相似文献

Automatic prediction of the aesthetic value of images has received increasing attention in recent years. This is due, on the one hand, to the potential impact that predicting the aesthetic value has on practical applications. Even so, it remains a difficult task given the subjectivity and complexity of the problem. An image aesthetics assessment system was developed in recent years by our research group. In this work, its potential to be applied in commercial tasks is tested. With this objective, a set of three portals and three real estate agencies in Spain were taken as case studies. Images of their websites were taken to build the experimental dataset and a validation method was developed to test their original order with another proposed one according to their aesthetic value. So, in this new order, the images that have the high aesthetic score by the AI system will occupy the first positions of the portal. Relevant results were obtained, with an average increase of 52.54% in the number of clicks on the ads, in the experiment with Real Estate portals. A statistical analysis prove that there is a significant difference in the number of clicks after selecting the images with the AI system.  相似文献

The emergence of powerful mathematical computing environments, the growing availability of correspondingly powerful (multi-processor) computers and the pervasive presence of the internet allow for mathematicians, students and teachers, to proceed heuristically and ‘quasi-inductively’. We may increasingly use symbolic and numeric computation, visualization tools, simulation and data mining. The unique features of our discipline make this both more problematic and more challenging. For example, there is still no truly satisfactory way of displaying mathematical notation on the web; and we care more about the reliability of our literature than does any other science. 如何对色调映射图像(Tone-mapped Image, TMI)质量进行有效评价是图像处理领域亟待解决的问题. 现有方法仅是低动态范围图像质量评价方法的改进, 并未考虑TM图像本身独有的特点. 基于此, 本文提出了一种结合美学特征的TMI质量评价方法. 从颜色保真度、色温分布、对比度、黑暗度、自然度5个方面出发提取图像的美学特征, 并在梯度域、张量域、高斯差分域和拉普拉斯域提取变换域特征, 利用支持向量回归训练得到质量评价模型. 在ESPL-LIVE HDR库上的实验表明, 现有代表性方法的Spearman秩相关系数最高为0.752, 而所提出模型可达0.766, 与人眼感知结果具有更强的一致性.  相似文献

提出了一种基于多尺度特征提取网络的图像美学客观量化评分方法,该模型主要由多个多尺度特征提取单元级联组成,每个单元包含由3个不同卷积核组成的特征提取层、融合层和映射层。特征提取层通过联合图像的全局视图和局部视图组成网络输入端,在输出端以EMD函数为损失函数,输出分布为1~10分的概率密度质量函数,并以分布均值作为图像美学量化值。实验证明,本文方法具有可行性和有效性,解决了传统方法只进行美感二进制等级分类的问题,给出了(模拟人类思维对)图像的客观量化评分;同时在AVA数据集上获得了优于几种主流算法的分类准确度。  相似文献
