Gold nanoparticles with different mean sizes were formed on antimony-doped tin oxide nanocrystals by the temperature-varied deposition-precipitation method (Au/ATO NCs). Au/ATO NCs possess strong absorption in the near-infrared region due to Drude excitation in addition to the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of AuNPs around 530 nm. Au/ATO NCs show thermally activated catalytic activity for the oxidation of cinnamyl alcohol to cinnamaldehyde by hydrogen peroxide. The catalytic activity increases with a decrease in the mean Au particle size (dAu) at 5.3 nm≤dAu≤8.2 nm. Light irradiation (λex >660 nm, ∼0.5 sun) of Au/ATO NCs increases the rate of reaction by more than twice with ∼95 % selectivity. Kinetic analyses indicated that the striking enhancement of the reaction stems from the rise in the temperature near the catalyst surface of ∼30 K due to the photothermal effect of the ATO NCs.  相似文献

A facile biosynthesis route was followed to prepare zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) using Euphorbia milii (E. milii) leaf constituents. The SEM images exhibited presence of spherical ZnO NPs and the corresponding TEM images disclosed monodisperse nature of the ZnO NPs with diameter ranges between 12 and 20 nm. The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analysis revealed that the ZnO NPs have specific surface area of 20.46 m2/g with pore diameter of 2 nm–10 nm and pore volume of 0.908 cm3/g. The EDAX spectrum exemplified the existence of Zn and O elements and non-appearance of impurities that confirmed pristine nature of the ZnO NPs. The XRD pattern indicated crystalline peaks corresponding to hexagonal wurtzite structured ZnO with an average crystallite size of 16.11 nm. The FTIR spectrum displayed strong absorption bands at 512 and 534 cm?1 related to ZnO. The photocatalytic action of ZnO NPs exhibited noteworthy degradation of methylene blue dye under natural sunlight illumination. The maximum degradation efficiency achieved was 98.17% at an illumination period of 50 min. The reusability study proved considerable photostability of the ZnO NPs during photocatalytic experiments. These findings suggest that the E. milii leaf constituents can be utilized as suitable biological source to synthesis ZnO NPs for photocatalytic applications.  相似文献

In this work, a vanillin complex is immobilized onto MCM-41 and characterized by FT-IR, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and BET techniques. This supported Schiff base complex was found to be an efficient and recoverable catalyst for the chemoselective oxidation of sulfides into sulfoxides and thiols into their corresponding disulfides (using hydrogen peroxide as a green oxidant) and also a suitable catalyst for the preparation of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives in water at 90°C. Using this protocol, we show that a variety of disulfides, sulfoxides, and 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-one derivatives can be synthesized in green conditions. The catalyst can be recovered and recycled for further reactions without appreciable loss of catalytic performance.  相似文献

[PW11ZnO39]5? was immobilized on activated carbon and characterized using Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray diffraction, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller and elemental analysis techniques. Effective oxidation of various alcohols with hydrogen peroxide was performed in the presence of this catalyst. Easy separation of the catalyst from the reaction mixture, cheapness, high activity and selectivity, stability as well as retained activity in subsequent catalytic cycles make this supported catalyst suitable for small‐scale synthesis. A zinc coordination polymer derived from pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate (PDC), {[Zn2(PDC)2]}n, was successfully prepared via conventional, sonication and microwave-irradiation methods. The composition and characteristics of the obtained coordination polymers (CPs) were investigated by elemental analysis, TGA/DTA, X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic techniques. The so obtained CPs were heat-treated in the air at 600 °C for 2 h to produce ZnO of nanosized particles (NPs). It is of interest to note that the synthesis approach of the precursor greatly affects both the nanoparticle size and the structure of the resulting ZnO NPs. Moreover, the smallest particle size was associated with the sample derived from the ultrasonically prepared precursor. TEM analysis revealed that all samples have sphere-like morphologies. Structural analysis of the prepared ZnO samples was conducted and compared using Rietveld analysis of their PXRD patterns. Optical band gap calculations based on analysis of the UV–vis spectra of ZnO samples using Tauc's power law were achieved. The highest band gap of 3.63 eV was observed for ZnO sample obtained from the ultrasonically prepared precursor. Furthermore, the photocatalytic activity of ZnO NPs for the removal of Eosin Y color was monitored. The highest removal efficiency was recorded for ZnO originated from the ultrasonically synthesized precursor. Enhancement of removal efficiency that reached 98% was attained in only a period of 8 min. Its recycling test showed that it can be reused without structural changes over four cycling experiments.  相似文献

The following two numerical models have been applied to zinc cations electroreduction in 1 M NaClO4 water solution: a classical EE model describing the concentration of involved species in solution (semi infinitive diffusion region), an extended EE model describing both: the concentration of involved species in solution and the concentration of metallic zinc inside mercury drop (in limited area of diffusion). In the latter model the inner part of mercury drop and surrounding solution were treated as dynamic interrelated system. Both models were applied to experimental cyclic voltammetric CV data in 1 M NaClO4, the results compared and discussed. The concentration profiles of all species including metallic zinc inside mercury drop were performed. The presented integrated model is essential for theoretical and analytical aspects of the electrochemistry of mercury soluble metal cations and amalgams.  相似文献

Homohelicity induction of a series of propylene-linked zinc bilinone (ZnBL; linear tetrapyrrople-zinc(II) complex) dimers upon complexation with chiral amine and α-amino esters was investigated. Introduction of substituents such as dimethyl and diisobutyl to the central carbon of the propylene spacer gave rise to stabilization of the homohelical (PP and MM) conformers rather than the heterohelical (PM) conformer. As bulkiness of the substituent increased, stability of the homohelical conformers was raised. The preorganization of the homohelical structures led to significantly amplified homohelicity induction upon complexation with chiral amine and α-amino esters.  相似文献

本文研究了用 2 0 1× 7阳离子交换树脂对自来水中的微量元素进行交换富集 ,采用微量脉冲进样 导数火焰原子吸收法测定富集后溶液中的Cu ,Fe和Zn ,该方法灵敏度分别为 0 2 9,0 5 9和 0 0 6 μg·L- 1 ,精密度分别为 4 2 8% ,1 95 %和 2 2 8% ,检测限分别为 1 2 8,5 85和 0 6 8μg·L- 1 ,回收率分别为 91 13% ,10 1 34%和99 84 % ,本方法大大减少了需样量 ,简便快速 ,灵敏度高。  相似文献
