Cleaving functors and controlled wild algebras

We show that the cleaving functors introduced in [Bautista et al., Invent. Math. 81 (1985) 217] as a tool for proving infinite representation type of finite-dimensional algebras can also be used to establish controlled wildness. The main application is that an algebra is controlled wild if there is an indecomposable projective module with a Loewy factor having a homogeneous direct summand which is of length at least 3. As a second application we derive Han's covering criterion.     

Equivalences of comodule categories for coalgebras over rings

In this article we defined and studied quasi-finite comodules, the cohom functors for coalgebras over rings. Linear functors between categories of comodules are also investigated and it is proved that good enough linear functors are nothing but a cotensor functor. Our main result of this work characterizes equivalences between comodule categories generalizing the Morita-Takeuchi theory to coalgebras over rings. Morita-Takeuchi contexts in our setting is defined and investigated, a correspondence between strict Morita-Takeuchi contexts and equivalences of comodule categories over the involved coalgebras is obtained. Finally, we proved that for coalgebras over QF-rings Takeuchi's representation of the cohom functor is also valid.     

Higher Order Peak Algebras

Using the theory of noncommutative symmetric functions, we introduce the higher order peak algebras (Sym(N))_N≥1, a sequence of graded Hopf algebras which contain the descent algebra and the usual peak algebra as initial cases (N=1 and N=2). We compute their Hilbert series, introduce and study several combinatorial bases, and establish various algebraic identities related to the multisection of formal power series with noncommutative coefficients. 高温超导体Josephson阵列在磁场中的微波响应与磁通涡旋激发

本文从分析相变电阻率 ρP 和磁通蠕动电阻率 ρF 出发 ,指出当T小于某一温度T0 时 ,ρF>ρP,而当T >T0 时 ,ρF 远小于 ρP,并进一步分析了 ρF 与 ρP 随温度的变化率分布图 ,得出磁通蠕动电阻率 ρF 随温度的变化率分布图跟微波响应曲线具有相似的分布特征 ,结果表明 :高温超导体的非平衡微波响应机制可能与磁通涡旋的激发有关 .     

纳米KMn8O16粉体的室温固相合成与表征

室温或近室温固相反应要求绿色化、清洁化[1,2]。我们以KMnO4和MnCl2·4H2O为原料,用室温固相氧化还原反应制备氧化锰粉体时,得到了一种对H2O2分解具有较高催化活性的纳米KMn8O16粉体,用XRD、SEM、IR等技术对其进行了表征,发现研磨时间对粉体性能有显著影响。1　实验部分1 1　粉体的制备按摩尔比(2∶3)准确称取一定量的分析纯KMnO4和MnCl2·4H2O,分别置于玛瑙研钵中充分研细,再混合研磨,固相反应立即发生,体系颜色逐渐加深,并有刺激性气体产生,充分研磨后70℃恒温12h,固相产物依次经水洗至中性、醇洗、抽滤,真空干燥得黑色粉…     

On Gittins’ index theorem in continuous time

We give a new and comparably short proof of Gittins’ index theorem for dynamic allocation problems of the multi-armed bandit type in continuous time under minimal assumptions. This proof gives a complete characterization of optimal allocation strategies as those policies which follow the current leader among the Gittins indices while ensuring that a Gittins index is at an all-time low whenever the associated project is not worked on exclusively. The main tool is a representation property of Gittins index processes which allows us to show that these processes can be chosen to be pathwise lower semi-continuous from the right and quasi-lower semi-continuous from the left. Both regularity properties turn out to be crucial for our characterization and the construction of optimal allocation policies.     

Hochschild cohomology and “smoothness” in monoidal categories

We introduce and investigate the properties of Hochschild cohomology of algebras in an abelian monoidal category M. We show that the second Hochschild cohomology group of an algebra in M classifies extensions of A up to an equivalence. We characterize algebras of Hochschild dimension 0 (separable algebras), and of Hochschild dimension ≤1 (formally smooth algebras). Several particular cases and applications are included in the last section of the paper.     

关于奇ATm核1/2+[411]转动带的系统分析

壳模型计算表明,1/2⁺[411]出现于¹⁵⁷Tm核的基态可能是由非轴对称形变造成的.但是新近从¹⁵⁷Yb衰变纲图给出的¹⁵⁷Tm低激发谱中,指认了一个建立在1/2⁺[411]带头上的基态转动带,并认为该带的性质是轴对称的,提取了该带的惯性参数与脱耦合参数.通过对奇ATm核1/2⁺[411]转动带的系统分析,强调了在¹⁵⁷Tm核中非轴对称γ自由度效应的重要性.     

Some characterisations of supported algebras

We give several equivalent characterisations of left (and hence, by duality, also of right) supported algebras. These characterisations are in terms of properties of the left and the right parts of the module category, or in terms of the classes L₀ and R₀ which consist respectively of the predecessors of the projective modules, and of the successors of the injective modules.
