New elements of the dual cone of the set of fermion N-representable 2-density operators are proposed. So far, the explicit form of the corresponding necessary conditions for N-representability is obtained for N = 3. In this case the new condition is stronger than the known B- and C-conditions for 3-representability. The results provide evidence that in the spectral decomposition of the N-representable 2-density operator there exists an intrinsic relation between the eigenvalue and the corresponding eigenfunction. 相似文献

We present an investigation of the 2D attractive Hubbard model, considered as an effective model relevant to superconductivity
in strongly interacting electron systems. We use both hybrid Monte-Carlo simulations and existing hopping parameter expansions
to explore the low temperature domain. The increase of the static S-wave pair correlation with decreasing temperature, which depends weakly on the band filling in the explored temperature range,
is analyzed in terms of an expected Kosterlitz-Thouless superconducting transition. Using both our data and previously published
results, we show that the evidence for this transition is weak: If it exists, its temperature is very low. The number of unpaired
electrons remains nearly constant with temperature at fixed attractive potential strength. In contrast, the static magnetic
susceptibility decreases fast with temperature, and cannot be related only to pair formation. We introduce a method by which
the Padé approximants of the existing series for the susceptibility give sensible results down to rather low temperature region,
as shown by comparison with our numerical data.

The symmetric heavy-light ansatz is a method for finding the ground state of any dilute unpolarized system of attractive two-component
fermions. Operationally it can be viewed as a generalization of the Kohn-Sham equations in density functional theory applied
to N -body density correlations. While the original Hamiltonian has an exact Z2 symmetry, the heavy-light ansatz breaks this symmetry by skewing the mass ratio of the two components. In the limit where
one component is infinitely heavy, the many-body problem can be solved in terms of single-particle orbitals. The original
Z2 symmetry is recovered by enforcing Z2 symmetry as a constraint on N -body density correlations for the two components. For the 1D, 2D, and 3D attractive Hubbard models the method is in very
good agreement with exact Lanczos calculations for few-body systems at arbitrary coupling. For the 3D attractive Hubbard model
there is very good agreement with lattice Monte Carlo results for many-body systems in the limit of infinite scattering length. 相似文献

We establish that the static height fluctuations of a particular growth model, the PNG droplet, converges upon proper rescaling to a limit process, which we call the Airy process A(y). In order to clarify the physics of the crossover from a Peierls band insulator to a correlated Mott-Hubbard insulator, we
analyze ground-state and spectral properties of the one-dimensional half-filled Holstein-Hubbard model using quasi-exact numerical
techniques. In the adiabatic limit the transition is connected to the band to Mott insulator transition of the ionic Hubbard
model. Depending on the strengths of the electron-phonon coupling and the Hubbard interaction the transition is either first
order or evolves continuously across a narrow intermediate phase with finite spin, charge, and optical excitation gaps.

The behavior of charge and spin persistent currents in an integrable lattice ring of strongly correlated electrons with a
magnetic impurity is exactly studied. Our results manifest that the oscillations of charge and spin persistent currents are
similar to the ones, earlier obtained for integrable continuum models with a magnetic impurity. The difference is due to two
(instead of one) Fermi velocities of low-lying excitations. The form of oscillations in the ground state is “saw-tooth”-like,
generic for any multi-particle coherent one-dimensional models. The integrable magnetic impurity introduces net charge and
spin chiralities in the generic integrable lattice system, which determine the initial phase shifts of charge and spin persistent
currents. We show that the magnitude of the charge persistent current in the generic Kondo situation does not depend on the
parameters of the magnetic impurity, unlike the (magneto)resistivity of transport currents.

The electron-phonon interaction in the periodic Anderson model (PAM) is considered. The PAM incorporates the effect of onsite
Coulomb interaction (U) between f-electrons. The influence of Coulomb correlation U on the phonon response of the system is studied by evaluating the phonon spectral function for various parameters of the
model. The numerical evaluation of the spectral function is carried out in the long wavelength limit at finite temperatures
keeping only linear terms in U. The observed behaviour is found to agree well with the general features obtained experimentally for some heavy fermion (HF)
