In this paper a novel macromodeling scheme is presented to model the per unit of length (p.u.l.) parameters of uniform transmission lines. In particular, it is focused on single on-chip interconnects, because their p.u.l. parameters are influenced by the presence of semiconductor (s) and as such exhibit a strong frequency-dependency, making the modeling process harder. Starting from a set of very accurate tabulated data samples, obtained by two-dimensional electromagnetic modeling, rational models for the four p.u.l. parameters are constructed. The novelty of the approach lies in the fact that the rational models are positive by construction and that a controllable accuracy is obtained. These models can then further be used to construct multivariate models, e.g., for variability analysis. Here, the novel scheme is applied to an on-chip inverted embedded microstrip line, of which the signal integrity behavior is assessed in both the frequency and the time domain, demonstrating the applicability of the macromodels.  相似文献

In order to improve the membrane lipophilicity and the affinity towards the environment of lipid bilayers, squalene (SQ) could be conjugated to phospholipids in the formation of liposomes. The effect of membrane composition and concentrations on the degradation of liposomes prepared via the extrusion method was investigated. Liposomes were prepared using a mixture of SQ, cholesterol (CH) and Tween80 (TW80). Based on the optimal conditions, liposome batches were prepared in the absence and presence of SQ. Their physicochemical and stability behavior were evaluated as a function of liposome constituent. From the optimization study, the liposomal formulation containing 5% (w/w) mixed soy lecithin (ML), 0.5% (w/w) SQ, 0.3% (w/w) CH and 0.75% (w/w) TW80 had optimal physicochemical properties and displayed a unilamellar structure. Liposome prepared using the optimal formulation had a low particle size (158.31 ± 2.96 nm) and acceptable %increase in the particle size (15.09% ± 3.76%) and %trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (%TEAC) loss (35.69% ± 0.72%) against UV light treatment (280–320 nm) for 6 h. The interesting outcome of this research was the association of naturally occurring substance SQ for size reduction without the extra input of energy or mechanical procedures, and improvement of vesicle stability and antioxidant activity of ML-based liposome. This study also demonstrated that the presence of SQ in the membrane might increase the acyl chain dynamics and decrease the viscosity of the dispersion, thereby limiting long-term stability of the liposome.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

To date, the way that academic misconduct is manifested in undergraduate mathematics coursework has been unexamined in the literature, with the consequence that policy and preventive education can fail to address it appropriately. This paper describes the particular features of the responses expected in mathematical tasks and provides concrete examples of what lapses of integrity look like in this context. A novel membrane-based sensor device for upstream membrane integrity monitoring has been developed and evaluated in this study. The sensor is based on relative trans-membrane pressures created by two membranes in series inside the sensor device that detects deposition from the sample stream onto the first of the sensor membranes. The sensor pressure signals can distinguish between intact or damaged membranes in the upstream membrane filtration process. Studies were conducted to evaluate both stabilities and sensitivities of the relative trans-membrane pressure monitoring technique. Sensitivity, based on the response times of the membrane sensor for particle detection, was determined for a range of operating conditions, membrane sandwich configurations, and particle concentrations in both simulated membrane failures and for actual pin-hole defects on a submerged MF membrane. The results showed that both sensitivities and stability strongly depended on membrane sandwich configurations (membrane characteristics) in the sensor, and mode of operation (pressurized or vacuum). The membrane sensor detected bentonite particles with a concentration of 0.3 mg/L (turbidity ∼0.3 NTU) in approximately 35 min in the vacuum mode. The sensor is reliable, sensitive and low cost. It has potential applications in decentralized systems or in multichannel monitoring of local conditions in a large plant. Possible applications of the membrane sensor for fouling monitoring are also discussed.  相似文献

结合极限分析中的数学规划理论和有限元技术,提出了三维含结构极限分析的数学规划方法,并采用罚函数法引入塑性不可压条件,对于考虑多组独立变化载荷作用的情况,提出了加载路径射线辐射求解方案,并基于这种射线射状的加载路径,推导了多组载荷联合作用下结构塑性极限上限分析的数学规划格式,编制了相应的有限元程序,文中的数值了该方法的正确性与有效性。  相似文献

Two mechanical models have been presented in this paper for structural failure prediction of piping systems conveying liquids subjected to pressure transients. One model takes into account the axial fluid–structure interaction (FSI) phenomenon between fluid and pipe motion, whereas the other refers to an extension of the well-known waterhammer formulation. Both models are described by a system of non-linear hyperbolic equations which are solved by using a numerical procedure based upon the operator splitting technique and Glimm's scheme. To implement Glimm's method, it is presented the solution of a 4×4 Riemann problem with discontinuous coefficients. Numerical predictions of both models are presented and compared, so that the influence of the FSI term on the failure analysis is focused on. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The Hall tensor emerges from the study of the Hall effect, an important magnetic effect observed in electric conductors and semiconductors. The Hall tensor is third-order and three-dimensional, whose first two indices are skew-symmetric. This paper investigates the isotropic polynomial invariants of the Hall tensor by connecting it with a second-order tensor via the third-order Levi-Civita tensor. A minimal isotropic integrity basis with 10 invariants for the Hall tensor is proposed. Furthermore, it is proved that this minimal integrity basis is also an irreducible isotropic function basis of the Hall tensor.  相似文献
