We have examined the unusual behavior of wave propagation in the BrO3
- - 1,4- cyclohexanedione - ferroin reaction system. Two patterns of traveling wave have been induced spontaneously with long
time lag in the reaction process. A new wave has been induced as a concentric pattern after an initially induced wave has
disappeared. The initially induced wave shows an irregular spiral pattern with a high wave frequency. The two waves show very
different behavior in the pattern and in other wave characteristics as well. We compared the behavior of the two waves and
suggested an appropriate reaction process for unusual behavior of wave propagation in the system by considering the reaction
intermediates of the organic compounds.

We investigate the nonlocality dynamics of two initially entangled macroscopic fields each interacting with a resonant two-level atom. The nonlocality of macroscopic field is characterized by the extent to which the Bell Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt (CHSH)'s inequality for continuous-variable states is violated. We show that the collapse and revival of the Bell-nonlocality are similar to the collapse and revival of the atomic population inversion of the Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM). 相似文献

The birefringence of a linearly polarized femtosecond laser filament in gases has been previously established. In this work, we report the time-dependent refractive index measurements of the filament based upon the spectral modulation of a weak probe pulse in air and in argon gas at 1 atmospheric pressure. The polarization dependence of the refractive index modulation induced by the delayed molecular alignment and by the electronic Kerr effect is highlighted. A numerical simulation of the refractive indices, which takes into account the molecular alignment, the electronic Kerr non-linearity and the plasma, is in good agreement with the measurements. 相似文献

Although α-CsPbI3 is regarded as an attractive optical luminophore, it is readily degraded to the optically inactive δ-phase under ambient conditions. Here, we present a simple approach to revive degraded (“optically sick”) α-CsPbI3 through “medication” with thiol-containing ligands. The effect of different types of thiols is systematically studied through optical spectroscopy. The structural reconstruction of degraded α-CsPbI3 nanocrystals to cubic crystals in the presence of thiol-containing ligands is visualized through high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and supported by X-ray diffraction analysis. We found that 1-dodecanethiol (DSH) effectively revives degraded CsPbI3 and results in high immunity towards moisture and oxygen, hitherto unreported. DSH facilitates the passivation of surface defects and etching of degraded Cs4PbI6 phase, thus reverting them back to the cubic CsPbI3 phase, leading to enhanced PL and environmental stability. 相似文献
