The spin-dependent electron transport is numerically studied in a nonmagnetic nanostructure in the presence of both Dresselhaus and Rashba spin-orbit interactions. It is shown that the large spin polarization can be achieved in such a structure mainly due to the Rashba spin-orbit term induced splitting of the resonant level. It is also shown that the spin polarization strongly depends on the well width and the thickness of the middle barrier as well as the height of the middle barrier.  相似文献

The magnetic and electrical transport properties of La0.9Mn0.9M0.1O3 (M=Mn, Zn and Ti) were investigated. The temperature and magnetic field dependence of electrical resistivity (ρ) and dc magnetization were studied. All the compounds are found in rhombohedral structure. The excess oxygen in all three compounds was detected through iodometric titration. A modification in resistivity is observed when M=Mn is replaced by M=Zn and Ti. The high temperature resistivity above TC follow variable range hopping model for both Zn and Ti compounds. For Zn doping, the observation of large field-cool effect and decrease in resistivity at room temperature and is assumed to be due to the implant of Mn4+ in Mn3+ matrix, which favor Mn3+/Mn4+ double exchange. The ferromagnetic behavior below TC for the compound with M=Ti is correlated to the excess oxygen in it, which implants Mn4+ and thus incorporates ferromagnetic interactions. The substitutions lead to a reduction of Tc and magnetization.  相似文献

Equilibrium current states in superconducting junctions of SNINS-type (S – superconductor, N – normal metal, I – insulator) for arbitrary concentrations of nonmagnetic impurities in superconducting regions were investigated using the Ginzburg–Landau theory near the critical temperature. We found the current-phase relation valid in a wide range of electron transmission coefficient values and an arbitrary thickness of the normal layer. The influence of depairing effects was taken into account. A new analytical formula for the dependence of the current on the phase difference was obtained and a number of particular cases were considered.  相似文献

The exchange bias field HE was much higher for Ta/Co/Co3O4/Ta than Ta/Co/Co3O4, fabricated in a magnetron sputtering system under the same experimental conditions. The XPS analysis showed that Ta atoms of cap layer for Ta/Co/Co3O4/Ta diffused into Co3O4 layer and reduced Co3O4, and introduced some nonmagnetic defects into the AFM layer. The dilution of the AFM layer led to the formation of volume domains. We believed that the higher HE for the multilayers Ta/Co/Co3O4/Ta was primarily attributed to the formation of volume domain due to some nonmagnetic defects in AFM layer.  相似文献

The crystal structure, electronic structure, and magnetic behaviors of nonmagnetic Ga ions doped double perovskite La1.5Sr0.5CoMnO6 single phase crystals have been investigated. Different from the traditional magnetic dilution effect of nonmagnetic doping, Ga doping in La1.5Sr0.5CoMnO6 enhances the ferromagnetic (FM) exchange interaction of Co3+-O-Mn3+. Moreover, both conventional and spontaneous exchange bias (EB) effects can be tuned by modulating the Ga doping content, which is accompanied by the variation of the Co3+/4+ and Mn3+/4+ and the effective magnetic moment. The EB field and magnetization can be improved by nonmagnetic Ga3+ doping with content lower than 0.2. The evolution of conventional and spontaneous EB effects in La1.5Sr0.5Co1-xGaxMnO6 can be understood in terms of the unidirectional interface anisotropic coupling between FM/anti-FM, and/or FM/spin glass, which is affected by antisite disorder, spin glass, and the uncompensated coupling between Co and Mn.  相似文献

Zn2+ ions doped quasi-one-dimensional spin-chain materials LiCu1-xZnxVO4(x=0, 0.1, 0.2) were prepared by solid-state reaction and the effect of nonmagnetic Zn2+ ions on the crystal structure, valence state and magnetic properties of them were studied by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and dc magnetization. The elongation of a and b axes and the shrinkage of c axis indicate a reduced effect of the Jahn-Teller distortion after Zn2+ ions doping, while the valence state of transition metal ions in LiCu1-xZnxVO4 remains unchanged since the equivalence doping of Zn2+ ions on the Cu2+ sites. The corrected Bonner-Fisher equation fitting to the susceptibility indicates that isolated dimers and spins are created along with the departure from infinite spin chains to finite ones.  相似文献

We demonstrate a photonic band gap (PBG) from a layered periodic structure containing anisotropic nonmagnetic right-handed and left-handed metamaterials whose permittivity elements are partially negative. A set of criteria imposed on materials and structures to realize a PBG is derived, and the transmission spectra are also discussed. When a defect layer is introduced, some unusual properties are found in contrast to that of a defect mode in ordinary PBG structures.  相似文献

In that work, we have described the synthesis of novel Cu NPs decorated polyethylene glycol (PEG2000) coated magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu NPs) in an eco-friendly pathway applying Green Tea extract as reducing/stabilizing agent. The morphological and physicochemical features of the prepared nanocomposite were determined using several advanced techniques like ICP-OES, FE-SEM, EDX, atomic mapping, TEM, VSM, and XRD studies. In the antioxidant test, the IC50 of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite and BHT against DPPH free radicals were 198 and 85 µg/mL, respectively. In the cellular and molecular part of the recent study, the treated cells with Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite were assessed by MTT assay for 48 h about the cytotoxicity and anti-human gastric cancer properties on normal (HUVEC) and gastric cancer cell lines i.e. NCI-N87 and MKN45. The IC50 of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite were 316 and 131 µg/mL against NCI-N87 and MKN45 cell lines, respectively. The viability of malignant gastric cell line reduced dose-dependently in the presence of Fe3O4/PEG2000/Cu nanocomposite. It seems that the anti-human gastric cancer effect of recent nanoparticles is due to their antioxidant effects.  相似文献

The underlying mechanisms of controlling the self-assembly of micro-size nonmagnetic particles (NPs) in magnetic fluids are essential for the manufacture, process and exploitation of nano-magnetic material. In this study, a multi-physical numerical model, which couples a distribution function correction-based immersed boundary lattice Boltzmann method (DFCIB-LBM) for fluid–structure interaction (FSI) and a self-correcting procedure of Poisson equation solver for magnetic field, is carried out to investigate such self-assembling behaviors and mechanisms. The interactions of two neighboring micro-size NPs placed in different distance and orientation, and the self-assembling behaviors of numerous micro-size NPs under uniform magnetic field are studied in details. The results demonstrate that the self-assembling behaviors are caused by the inverse magnetic effect, which can be adjusted by varying the concentration and size of NPs, permeability ratio, and the strength of external magnetic field. On the contrary, NPs in magnetic fluid affect their surrounding magnetic field and hinder the magnetization near the NP boundary region. These findings can provide a better understanding of the bottom-up fabrication of magnetic functional materials and devices.  相似文献

利用二氧化硅和聚苯乙烯非磁性微球掺入铁氧体纯磁流体中,制得了复合磁流体.定性地研究了复合磁流体在外磁场作用下的双折射与非磁性微球的种类、掺杂浓度以及纯磁流体自身浓度的关系.研究表明,不同浓度的纯磁流体掺杂等量的聚苯乙烯微球对其双折射随磁场的变化趋势影响不同|同一浓度的纯磁流体掺杂不同种类的非磁性微球,对其双折射的影响也不同|掺杂等量但不同比例的两种非磁性混合微球所形成的复合磁流体中,其中一种非磁性微球对其双折射的影响起主导作用,使得该复合磁流体双折射随磁场的变化趋势与起主导作用的非磁性微球单独掺杂时相似.  相似文献
