We study multi-product and multi-item assemble-to-order systems under general assumptions on demand patterns and replenish leadtime distributions. We only assume that the demand process of each product being a renewal process, and the replenish leadtimes follow general distributions. Based upon techniques from renewal theory, we developed procedures for approximating key performance measures of these inventory systems, such as average inventory and immediate order fill rate. We also obtain qualitative results that reveal the impacts of changes in demand patterns and leadtime variability upon the performance of the systems. 相似文献

This paper uses the third-order aberration theory to design a reflective zoom optical system. The advantage of this method is that, by solving a set of Seidel aberration coefficient functions, it allows the designer to achieve the initial construction parameters of the optical system, i.e., radii of curvature and separations between mirrors, etc. In order to verify the accuracy of this method, a prototype of a coaxial zoom optical system with three mirrors is designed. This paper introduces the manufacturing process of the prototype in detail, describes the procedures of aligning and experimenting, and analyzes the experiment results in the end. Electrochemistry combined with economical and sustainable platforms (such as paper) provides portable, affordable, robust, and user-friendly devices. In general, techniques, such as photolithography and sputtering, are excellent alternatives for producing these platforms. However, owing to the requirement of expensive and sophisticated instrumentation, as well as cleanroom facilities, these techniques have limited access. Thus, the search for easy to use and produce approaches have been reported, using consumables, including adhesives, carbon ink, graphite, pencil, office paper, paperboard, among others. In this sense, in this mini-review, we discuss various strategies explored to fabricate low-cost electrochemical sensors, including its main applications. Different manufacturing methods, such as screen and stencil printing, laser-scribing, and pencil drawing, will be discussed here, emphasizing the performance of the obtained devices, in addition to their advantages and disadvantages. 相似文献

This paper presents a comprehensive investigation at the microscopic scale of various pigments composed of chromium from the French ‘Manufacture de Sèvres’ to establish the origin of color in glazes. Electron microscopy coupled with X-ray diffraction allows the determination of the microstructure and composition of the crystalline phases after firing. X-ray absorption spectroscopy reveals subtle changes in the medium-range ordering around Cr with high spatial resolution, in the pigment grain or at the pigment/glass interface. Principal results indicate systematic and common changes whatever the pigment types: (i) Cr-enrichment for the final crystals, that controls the coloration of the glaze, (ii) migration of specific elements such as Al or Zn from the pigments to the amorphous part of the glaze, and (iii) crystallization of anorthite in the near proximity of the altered Cr-bearing crystalline pigments. 相似文献
