A multi-wire, gas-filled position-sensitive detector has been developed for the simultaneous recording of wavelength-dispersed X-ray signals that enables X-ray fluorescence spectrometry with a limited multi-element capability in the low Z element range. Details of the modular construction of the detector are given. The detector performance was characterized using Al–K radiation and a variable slit system. The detector has been applied in a laboratory spectrometer equipped with an electron source and a double multilayer mirror device as the wavelength-dispersing element. Spectra from Al and Si obtained in the simultaneous acquisition mode show good agreement with calculations performed using a ray-tracing model. 相似文献

To explore anti-tumor activities of manganese complexes, two complexes have been synthesized and characterized. Complex 1 is bridged by 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,4-biphenyl dicarboxylate. The eigen-oscillation mode of the Nd:YAP cw laser has been analysed. The influence of thermal effects arising from the pumping process on the output character of the 1.3414 μm Nd:YAP cw laser has been discussed. The crack problem of the reflective film at a 1.34 μm dielectric mirror has been solved. Based on the aforementioned work, we have been able to achieve an 82.8 W laser output at 1.3414 μm with a nearly polarized beam from a 5.8 mm diameter by 111 mm Nd:YAP rod. The overall efficiency and the slope efficiency are 1.15% and 2.02% respectively, and the fluctuation of the output power at 62 W is less than 1% during continuous operation for 45 min. 相似文献

Characterization and testing of an L‐shaped laterally graded multilayer mirror are presented. This mirror is designed as a two‐dimensional collimating optics for the analyzer system of the ultra‐high‐resolution inelastic X‐ray scattering (IXS) spectrometer at National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS‐II). The characterization includes point‐to‐point reflectivity measurements, lattice parameter determination and mirror metrology (figure, slope error and roughness). The synchrotron X‐ray test of the mirror was carried out reversely as a focusing device. The results show that the L‐shaped laterally graded multilayer mirror is suitable to be used, with high efficiency, for the analyzer system of the IXS spectrometer at NSLS‐II. 相似文献

Relay optics designed for use with imaging arrays at the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory are described. An off-axis ellipsoidal
mirror with foci displaced from the conjugate planes is used to achieve a Strehl ratio >0.88 over a 2′ square field of view
(corresponding to a far field of 15 × 15 diffraction beams) at a wavelength of 350μm. The mirror also provides an aperture-stop image just prior to focus which allows compact entry into cryogenic camera dewars.
Using a compensating ellipsoid in subsequent camera optics, the Strehl ratio can be improved to >0.95 at all points across
the field, even for off-axis chop angles of the telescope’s secondary mirror as large as 2′. 相似文献
