More than 250 rotationally resolved vibrational bands of the A2B2-X2A1 electronic transition of 15NO2 have been observed in the 14 300-18 000 cm−1 range. The bands have been recorded in a recently constructed setup designed for high resolution spectroscopy of jet cooled molecules by combining time gated fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular beam techniques. The majority of the observed bands has been rotationally assigned and can be identified as transitions starting from the vibrational ground state or from vibrationally excited (hot band) states. An exceptionally strong band is located at 14 851 cm−1 and studied in more detail as a typical benchmark transition to monitor 15NO2 in atmospheric remote sensing experiments. Standard rotational fit routines provide band origins, rotational and spin rotation constants. A subset of 177 vibronic levels of 2B2 vibronic symmetry has been analyzed in the energy range between 14 300 and 17 250 cm−1, in terms of integrated density and using Next Neighbor Distribution. It is found that the overall statistical properties and polyad structure of 15NO2 are comparable to those of 14NO2 but that the internal structures of the polyads are completely different. An indoor radon survey of a total of 269 dwellings, with one dosimeter per house, distributed in four Saudi Arabian cities was carried out. The objective of this survey was to carry out indoor radon measurements of two cities in the Eastern Province, Khafji and Hafr Al-Batin and to compare this with two cities in the Western Province, Al-Madina and Taif. The survey provides additional information about indoor radon concentrations in Saudi Arabia. The results of the survey in these cities showed that the overall minimum, maximum and average radon concentration were 7,137 and 30 Bqm−3, respectively. The lowest average radon concentration (20 Bqm−3) was found in Hafr Al-Batin, while the highest average concentration was found in Khafji (40 Bqm−3). 相似文献

The metalation of allyl benzyl thioether involves the benzylic or the allylic hydrogens. The benzylic carbanion undergoes a rapid[2,3] sigmatropic shift whereas the allylic carbanion gives rise to various rearrangements, among them migration of the allylic unit to the para position with allylic inversion. The temperature dependence of the ratio of products arising from the benzylic carbanion vs those from the allylic carbanion shows that the allylic-to-benzylic carbanion transformation occurs only under special conditions: (a) with slow addition of the base; (b) with thioether in excess relative to the base, and (c) on raising the temperature of the reaction medium from ?78° to ?15°. In the last instance, the proton transfer is intramolecular as shown with labeled thioethers. The extent of the different rearrangements depends on the temperature and solvent. A choice of mechanism cannot be made at this time for the para migration 5→9a. A leaving group effect on the reaction regioselectivity of the carbanion from allyl methyl thioether with benzyl halides has been noticed. The presence of dibenzyl indicates that, in addition to SN2 reactions, some electron transfer process is occurring. 相似文献

Manufacturers support the concept of traceability. However, only a small number of the medically relevant measurands can be traced to the highest metrological order. In many cases, the measured substances are heterogeneous mixtures where traceability can be established only to either an international conventional reference measurement procedure or to a manufacturers own in-house reference system. The traceability concept needs to be seen in the context that the results of medical laboratories are not an aim per se, but are meant to provide useful medical information to clinicians, and that pre- and post-analytical steps may also contribute significantly to errors. Use of nitrofuran drugs in food-producing animals has been prohibited within the EU because they may represent a public health risk. Monitoring compliance with the ban has focused on the detection of protein-bound nitrofuran metabolites which, in contrast to the parent compounds, are stable and persist in animal tissues. As part of the “FoodBRAND” project, an extensive survey of pork was undertaken across 15 European countries. Samples (n = 1500) purchased at retail outlets were analysed for the nitrofuran metabolites AOZ, AMOZ, AHD and SEM using LC–MS/MS determination of nitrobenzaldehyde derivatives. Limits of quantification for the method were 0.1 μg/kg (AOZ, AMOZ), 0.2 μg/kg (SEM) and 0.5 μg/kg (AHD). Of the 1500 samples tested, measurable residues of nitrofuran metabolites were confirmed in 12 samples (0.8% incidence overall) of which 10 samples were purchased in Portugal (AOZ, 0.3 μg/kg; AMOZ, 0.2–0.6 μg/kg) and one sample each in Italy (AMOZ, 1.0 μg/kg) and Greece (AOZ, 3.0 μg/kg). 相似文献
