Study of various binding materials like potassium bromide, poly(vinyl alcohol), starch, silver and aluminum has been carried out using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). The role of matrix effects using these five binders on LIBS signal intensity was investigated for better performance of LIBS technique as a quantitative analytical tool. For comparative study of different binders, the signal intensity of different Mg lines at 518.3, 517.2, 383.8 and 279.5 nm wavelengths were recorded for pellets prepared with known concentrations of Mg in these binders. The influence of laser energy on ablated mass under different binding materials and its correlation with LIBS signal intensity has been explored. Optical scanning microscopy images of the ablated crater were studied to understand the laser ablation process. The study revealed that the binding material plays an important role in the generation of LIBS signal. The relative signal intensity measured for a standard Mg line (at 518.3 nm) were 735, 538, 387, 227 and 130 for potassium bromide, starch, poly(vinyl alcohol), silver and aluminum as binders, respectively. This indicates clearly that potassium bromide is better as a binder for LIBS studies of powder samples.  相似文献

Bioassay-guided fractionation of the methanol extract of Erylus lendenfeldi using engineered strains of budding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) has resulted in the isolation of the known compound eryloside A (1) and two new compounds, erylosides K (2) and L (3). The structures were established based mainly on 1D and 2D NMR data. The absolute stereochemistry of eryloside A, which had never been fully characterized, was determined using the modified Mosher's method. The absolute stereochemistry of eryloside K was determined by comparison with tetrahydroeryloside A. Compounds 1-3 exhibited selective cytotoxicity against a yeast strain (Δrad50) deficient in double strand break (DSB) repair.  相似文献

Navier–Stokes computations of a wave–structure interaction are performed with the aim of assessing the potential of smoothed particle hydrodynamics to accurately estimate impact loading time history. A three‐dimensional dam‐break flow with a rectangular column located downstream is considered. The net force and impulse exerted on the column is monitored throughout the simulation with the results correlating well with existing experimental data. Initial and boundary conditions and numerical parameters are varied and their effect on the column load investigated. Impulse, alternating and direct voltage tests together with optical observations have been done under clean and polluted surface conditions with respect to bentonite, which is treated as a pollutant. The insulator materials tested were polymethyl methacrylate and polythene. Bentonite pollution may affect several surface flashover characteristics such as voltage at breakdown and 50% breakdown voltage under negative lightning impulse (1.2/50 μs) and the time to breakdown under wet condition for both negative and positive impulse voltage. There are four types of paths taken by the discharge channels, based on which the degree of degradation of the material surface may vary.  相似文献

氮化铝陶瓷具有优良的绝缘和导热性能,是传导冷却超导电力装置绝缘与导热连接件的首选,激光切割是对其进行加工的最有效方法,但激光切割可能对其绝缘性能产生影响,进而影响超导电力装置的安全运行。基于此,通过对激光打孔前后氮化铝基片孔周区域绝缘电阻的测量、金相结构和扫描电镜成分的比较,分析了激光打孔对氮化铝绝缘性能的影响,并总结了选用氮化铝基片作为超导电力装置电流引线的绝缘与导热垫片应注意的问题。  相似文献

我国在多条河流上修建了大量梯级水库, 梯级坝溃决诱发洪水大大超过单坝溃决洪水洪峰, 因此亟需加深对梯级坝溃决洪水洪峰增强机制的认识. 本文建立了梯级坝溃决洪水演进过程的一维浅水动力学模型, 发展了一套能捕捉激波、干湿边界和保平衡结构的数值求解方法, 通过大量算例, 系统研究了梯级坝溃决洪水演进过程的质量转化和能量转化机制. 研究结果表明, 梯级溃决中, 上游溃决诱发的洪水大大增大下游水库的质量和动量, 形成一个带动量的水塔, 同时在尾部残留一个动量较大的射流, 不断补充下游坝体溃决后水塔的质量和动量, 持续维持洪峰高度. 根据该射流-水塔机制, 建立了梯级坝溃决洪水演进过程对应的射流-水塔单坝溃决洪水过程等效模型, 该等效模型基本反映了梯级坝溃决诱发洪水的洪峰过程, 并成功预测了多个坝间距为百公里量级的梯级坝溃决洪水洪峰高程和流量, 可望为流域防洪和梯级坝设计提供理论依据.   相似文献

Natural rubber latex(NRL)and methyl methacrylate(MMA)grafted rubber latex were blended in different ratios and irradiated at various absorbed doses by gamma rays from Co-60 source at room temperature.The tensile properties, swelling ratio and permanent set were measured.The maximum tensile strength and modulus at 500% elongation were obtained at an absorbed dose of 8 kGy.Modulus increases from 6.99 MPa to 9.87 MPa for an increase in proportion of MMA grafted rubber from 40% to 60% in the blend at similar absorbed dose.Elongation at break and swelling ratio decrease with increasing absorbed dose as well as the MMA grafted rubber content in the blends.The decreasing trend of permanent set is high up to 5 kGy absorbed dose,and beyond that dose,it becomes almost flat.  相似文献

Viscoelastic properties of model immiscible blend were studied here under steady state condition at different initial conditions and transient flow conditions. The flow‐induced microstructure has been studied on these model blends. For this system, the elastic properties of the blend are mainly governed by the interface. Measurement of the dynamic modulus and of the first normal stress difference, both reflecting this enhanced elasticity, have been used to prove the blend morphology. The dynamic moduli after cessation of shear flow, the mean diameter of the disperse phase as generated by the shear flow, have been calculated using the model of Palierne. A procedure based on a direct fitting of the dynamic moduli with the model is compared with the one that uses a weight relaxation spectrum. On the other hand, the steady state normal stress data have been related to the morphology of the blend by means of Doi and Ohta model. The specific interfacial area is found to be inversely proportional to the ratio of interfacial tension over shear stress for the blend. A simple model for the propagation of an exothermic reaction is proposed in which the reactant ignites at a specified temperature. It is shown that the model supports waves of permanent form and the speed and stability of such waves is determined. Finally the behavior of this wave as it encounters a break in the fuel is considered. In particular results are obtained for the size of the break required to halt the wave.  相似文献
