We considered the kaon absorption from atomic states into the nucleus. We found that the nuclear density probed by the atomic kaon significantly depends on the kaon orbit. Then, we re-examined the meanings of the observed strengths of one-body and two-body kaon absorption, and investigated the effects to the formation spectra of kaon bound states by in-flight (K -, p) reactions. As a natural consequence, if the atomic kaon probes a smaller nuclear density, the ratio of the two-body absorption at nuclear center is larger than the observed value in kaonic atoms, and the depth of the imaginary potential is deeper even at smaller kaon energies as in kaonic nuclear states because of the large phase space for the two-body processes. This deeper imaginary potential makes the signals of kaonic nucleus formation more unclear in the (K -, p) spectra.  相似文献

35Cl NQR as well as heat capacity measurements of [(PyO)H][AuCl4] and its deuterated analog [(PyO)D][AuCl4] revealed successive phase transitions at 70.5 and 62.5 K, and at 71 and 63 K, respectively. The NQR frequency varied continuously through the upper transition point while discontinuously through the lower transition point. In the intermediate-temperature phase a remarkable decrease in the signal intensity was observed. These NQR observations as well as the feature of the heat capacity anomaly in which a broad peak is succeeded by a sharp peak with decreasing temperature suggest a possibility of normal-incommensurate-commensurate phase sequence.  相似文献

The picosecond degenerate four-wave mixing reflectivity of semi-insulating gallium arsenide at 1.06 m is calculated in this paper. The dependence of the reflectivity on the pump and signal fluences is measured. Reflectivities of more than one are possible. The Fourier components of the excited-carrier densities are calculated as a function of the pump fluence. The wavefront-correction property of this reflectivity is demonstrated with a lens group in the signal beam.  相似文献

The phase-conjugate reflectivity obtainable by degenerate four-wave mixing in silicon at a 1.06 m is calculated including free-carrier absorption. A maximum reflectivity of more than 100% is possible. The dependence of the reflectivity on the signal and pump energy densities up to 70 mJ/cm2 is measured and found to agree with theory. The wave-front-correction property of DFWM is demonstrated with a lens in the signal beam.  相似文献

Bound state pion production in40Ca and120Sn nuclei in (p,2p) and (n,d) reactions is investigated. The differential and total cross sections have been obtained. It is shown that the cross sections are determined by the overlap function of the bound states of the nucleon and pion, and as consequence,s-wave part of the pion-nucleus optical potential. It is shown that among four models of the Nijmegen baryon-baryon interaction only model F --which leads to a repulsive potential felt by the Σ hyperon inside the nucleus-- is consistent both with the analysis of Σ- atoms and of the (K -,π) reactions. The Nijmegen models are used to determine the strong complex single-particle (s.p.) potential of Σ-, and to calculate the strong-interaction shifts and widths of the lowest observed levels of Σ- atoms. Data for coherent photoproduction of π0 mesons from nuclei ( 12C, 40Ca, 93Nb, natPb), recently measured with the TAPS detector at the Mainz MAMI accelerator, have been analyzed in view of the mass form factors of the nuclei. The form factors have been extracted in plane-wave approximation of the A(γ,π0)A reaction and corrected for final-state interaction effects with the help of distorted-wave impulse approximations. Nuclear mass rms radii have been calculated from the slope of the form factors for q2 → 0. Furthermore, the Helm model (hard-sphere form factor folded with Gaussian) was used to extract diffraction radii from the zeroes of the form factor and skin thicknesses from the position and height of its first maximum. The diffraction radii from the Helm model agree with the corresponding charge radii obtained from electron scattering experiments within their uncertainties of a few per cent. The rms radii from the slope of the form factors are systematically lower by up to 5% for PWIA and up to 10% for DWIA. Also the skin thicknesses extracted from the Helm model are systematically smaller than their charge counterparts.  相似文献

The ground state properties and the properties of low-lying states of the even-even6Be-12Be beryllium isotopes are investigated using the extended version of the Antisymmetrized Molecular Dynamics Multi-Slater Determinant model. The theoretical method is found to be very useful to study ground state properties of various nuclei covering light unstable nuclei. Many experimental data can be successfully reproduced by the adopted approach. Binding energies, the energies of the 2 1 + states, electromagnetic transition strengths and quadrupole moments of proton and neutron distribution are calculated. By numerically solving the set of basic equations describing black hole accretion flows with low accretion rates, we show that although the dynamical structure of these flows is essentially unaffected by radiative processes in comparison with the case in which the radiation is not considered, the radiative cooling can be more important than the advective cooling in the flow's convection-dominated zone, and this result may have implications to distinguish observationally convection-dominated accretion flows from advection-dominated accretion flows.  相似文献

The value of the central density is of key importance for annihilation processes. For the ground state we discuss its determination from the moments of the ground state density. We first review the way of reaching the moments from the spectrum. In particular we show how to get the lowest moments in D = 3, namely 〈r−2〉 and 〈r−1〉 from the series expansion of the Laplace transform of the density. We then recall a method to obtain the central density based on the Stieltjes moment problem. If the number of known moments is finite, this technique yields a lower bound. We investigate the possibilities to estimate the accuracy of the bound and the corresponding asymptotic value. An application to the muonic 208Pb atom is presented.  相似文献
