Gauge natural formulation of conformal gravity

We consider conformal gravity as a gauge natural theory. We study its conservation laws and superpotentials. We also consider the Mannheim and Kazanas spherically symmetric vacuum solution and discuss conserved quantities associated to conformal and diffeomorphism symmetries.     

Fixed point theorems in metric spaces

In this paper, we establish two general theorems for equivalence between the Meir–Keeler type contractive conditions and the contractive definitions involving gauge functions. One of these theorems is an extension of a recent result of Lim (On characterization of Meir–Keeler contractive maps, Nonlinear Anal. 46 (2001) 113–120).     

Measure functions for frames

This paper addresses the natural question: “How should frames be compared?” We answer this question by quantifying the overcompleteness of all frames with the same index set. We introduce the concept of a frame measure function: a function which maps each frame to a continuous function. The comparison of these functions induces an equivalence and partial order that allows for a meaningful comparison of frames indexed by the same set. We define the ultrafilter measure function, an explicit frame measure function that we show is contained both algebraically and topologically inside all frame measure functions. We explore additional properties of frame measure functions, showing that they are additive on a large class of supersets—those that come from so called non-expansive frames. We apply our results to the Gabor setting, computing the frame measure function of Gabor frames and establishing a new result about supersets of Gabor frames.     

Spectral action and big desert

The values of the Higgs mass are obtained for two possibilities of extending the standard model in a way compatible with the existence of a noncommutative structure at high energies. We assume the existence of a big desert between the low energy electroweak scale and the high energy scale Λ=1.1×10¹⁷ GeV, where noncommutative features become relevant. We conclude that it is extremely difficult to depart from the Higgs mass value obtained from noncommutative geometry for the standard model with three generations only.     

Supersymmetry search via gauge boson fusion

We propose a novel method for the search of supersymmetry, especially for the electroweak gauginos at the large hadron collider (LHC). Gauge boson fusion technique was shown to be useful for heavy and intermediate mass Higgs bosons. In this article, we have shown that this method can also be applied to find the signals of EW gauginos in supersymmetric theories where the canonical search strategies for these particles fail.

Local and global solutions of the Chern-Simons-Higgs system

We study low regularity solutions of the Chern-Simons-Higgs equations. The Lorentz gauge condition makes them hyperbolic equations with the null form. Under the Coulomb gauge condition they are formulated in the hyperbolic equation coupled with elliptic equation. The div-curl decomposition is used in the temporal gauge.     

等滴光度法测定钼铁中的钼

根据ΔAp=KΔ（bc)p原理，采用“等滴光度法”测定钼铁中的钼，通过试验确定了最佳测定条件。该方法简便、快速，用于钼铁标准样品中钼的测定，测定结果的精密度为0.196%，与标准值之间的相对误差为0.064%（n=4)。
