This paper introduces the new interactive Java sketching software KamiWaAi, recently developed at the University of Fukui. Its graphical user interface enables the user without any knowledge of both mathematics or computer science, to do full three dimensional “drawings” on the screen. The resulting constructions can be reshaped interactively by dragging its points over the screen. The programming approach is new. KamiWaAi implements geometric objects like points, lines, circles, spheres, etc. directly as software objects (Java classes) of the same name. These software objects are geometric entities mathematically defined and manipulated in a conformal geometric algebra, combining the five dimensions of origin, three space and infinity. Simple geometric products in this algebra represent geometric unions, intersections, arbitrary rotations and translations, projections, distance, etc. To ease the coordinate free and matrix free implementation of this fundamental geometric product, a new algebraic three level approach is presented. Finally details about the Java classes of the new GeometricAlgebra software package and their associated methods are given. KamiWaAi is available for free internet download.  相似文献

Details of the reactive processes by which TiC and TiN microclusters are formed from precursor molecules in the gas phase are not clearly understood. We have performed ab initio calculations based on density functional theory methods in order to get some insight into the chemical reactions of precursor molecules. Using microcanonical molecular-dynamics we have simulated scattering processes between molecules consisting of the elements Ti, Cl, N and H. The simulations show that fluctuations of the kinetic energy can be large enough to break up bonds at moderate temperatures.  相似文献

建立热脱附-气相色谱-质谱的方法对卷烟包装材料中的酞酸酯(邻苯二甲酸二乙酯、邻苯二甲酸二异丁酯、邻苯二甲酸二正丁酯和邻苯二甲酸正丁正辛酯)进行测定,采用正交实验优化了热脱附条件,优化条件为卷烟包装材料在100℃的热脱附系统(TDS)中热脱附4min,目标物随流量为50mL/min的载气进入-50℃的冷进样系统(CIS4)中冷却,脱附结束后CIS4升温至200℃将目标物挥发进入GC-MS中进行分离和鉴定.采用外标法进行定量,所得校准曲线的线性关系良好,4种酞酸酯在100℃时脱附2min的加标平均回收率范围为80%-90%,相对标准偏差分别为2.07%、3.57%、2.21%和6.38%.该方法样品用量少,前处理简单,重现性较好,可用于卷烟包装材料中酞酸酯的同时测定.  相似文献

To increase the SiC content in Cr-based coatings, Cr-Al2O3/SiC composite coatings were plated in Cr(VI) baths which contained Al2O3-coated SiC powders. The Al2O3-coated SiC composite particles were synthesized by calcining the precursor prepared by heterogeneous deposition method. The transmission electron microscopy analysis of the particles showed that the nano-SiC particle was packaged by alumina. The zeta potential of the particles collected from the bath was up to +23 mV, a favorable condition for the co-deposition of the particles and chromium. Pulse current was used during the electrodeposition. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) indicated that the coating was compact and combined well with the substrate. Energy dispersive X-ray analysis of Cr-Al2O3/SiC coatings demonstrated that the concentration of SiC in the coating reached about 2.5 wt.%. The corrosion behavior of the composite coating was studied by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques. The data obtained suggested that the Al2O3/SiC particles significantly enhanced the corrosion resistance of the composite coating in 0.05 M HCl solution.  相似文献

What can rational deliberation indicate about belief? Belief clearly influences deliberation. The principle that rational belief is stake-invariant rules out at least one way that deliberation might influence belief. The principle is widely, if implicitly, held in work on the epistemology of categorical belief, and it is built into the model of choice-guiding degrees of belief that comes to us from Ramsey and de Finetti. Criticisms of subjective probabilism include challenges to the assumption of additive values (the package principle) employed by defenses of probabilism. But the value-interaction phenomena often cited in such challenges are excluded by stake-invariance. A comparison with treatments of categorical belief suggests that the appeal to stake-invariance is not ad hoc. Whether or not to model belief as stake-invariant is a question not settled here.  相似文献

A compact hand-held heated fluorometric instrument for performing real-time isothermal nucleic acid amplification and detection is described. The optoelectronic instrument combines a Printed Circuit Board/Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (PCB/MEMS) reaction detection/chamber containing an integrated resistive heater with attached miniature LED light source and photo-detector and a disposable glass waveguide capillary to enable a mini-fluorometer. The fluorometer is fabricated and assembled in planar geometry, rolled into a tubular format and packaged with custom control electronics to form the hand-held reactor. Positive or negative results for each reaction are displayed to the user using an LED interface. Reaction data is stored in FLASH memory for retrieval via an in-built USB connection. Operating on one disposable 3 V lithium battery >12, 60 min reactions can be performed. Maximum dimensions of the system are 150 mm (h) × 48 mm (d) × 40 mm (w), the total instrument weight (with battery) is 140 g. The system produces comparable results to laboratory instrumentation when performing a real-time nucleic acid sequence-based amplification (NASBA) reaction, and also displayed comparable precision, accuracy and resolution to laboratory-based real-time nucleic acid amplification instrumentation. A good linear response (R2 = 0.948) to fluorescein gradients ranging from 0.5 to 10 μM was also obtained from the instrument indicating that it may be utilized for other fluorometric assays. This instrument enables an inexpensive, compact approach to in-field genetic screening, providing results comparable to laboratory equipment with rapid user feedback as to the status of the reaction.  相似文献

Magnetics, ferroelectrics, and multiferroics have attracted great attentions because they are not only extremely important for investigating fundamental physics, but also have important applications in information technology. Here, recent computational studies on magnetism and ferroelectricity are reviewed. We first give a brief introduction to magnets, ferroelectrics, and multiferroics. Then, theoretical models and corresponding computational methods for investigating these materials are presented. In particular, a new method for computing the linear magnetoelectric coupling tensor without applying an external field in the first principle calculations is proposed for the first time. The functionalities of our home-made Property Analysis and Simulation Package for materials (PASP) and its applications in the field of magnetism and ferroelectricity are discussed. Finally, we summarize this review and give a perspective on possible directions of future computational studies on magnetism and ferroelectricity.  相似文献
