In this paper, we have used Monte Carlo (MC) method to simulate and study the temperature and doping effects on the electric conductivity of fullerene (C60). The results show that the band gap has reduced by the doping and the charge carrier transport is facilitated from valence band to conduction band by the temperature where is touched a 300 K. In this case, the conductivity reached a value of . The electric conductivity of C60 can increase by the triphenylmethane dye crystal violet (CV) alkali metal to reach at 303 K. The kinetics of reactions occurring at the gas-exposed surfaces of charged mixed ionic electronic conductors (MIECs) are examined
from theoretical first principles. Analysis based on the classical electrochemical potential-transition state theory model
reveals that the nature of the reactions is electrochemical in general. However, the influence of the surface potential on
the reaction rate is opposite for adsorption and incorporation reactions. Two-dimensional finite volume models of an MIEC
as working electrode in a half-cell configuration are presented. The results for a simple, two-step reduction process show
that the effect of the surface potential on the rate of reactions is minimal for incorporation-limited reactions but more
influential for adsorption-limited reactions.

An effect of Berry’s phase on the NQR spectrum of the rotating powder sample is described and applied for the determination of the electric field gradient asymmetry. The proposed method involves the analysis of the frequency singularities in the NQR powder patterns of the rotating samples. The Berry’s phases for the eigenstates, associated with an adiabatically changing quadrupole hamiltonian, are calculated for nuclei with a spin I = 3/2 and I = 1 as a function of the asymmetry parameter. 相似文献

We derive and analyse four algorithms for computing the current induced on a thin straight wire by a transient electric field.
They all involve solving the thin wire electric field integral equations (EFIEs) and consist of a very accurate differential
equations solver together with various schemes to approximate the vector potential integral equation. We carry out a rigorous
numerical stability analysis of each of these methods. This has not previously been done for solution schemes for the thin
wire EFIEs. Each scheme is shown to be stable and convergent provided the radius of the wire is small enough for the thin

This paper reports a direct jet-based polymerisation by polycondensation approach to forming a self-supporting scaffold structure.
The processing technique is electrospraying, which is also known as electrohydrodynamic atomization. A specially formulated
ethanolic siloxane sol derived from alkoxysilanes was synthesised and electrosprayed using a ring-shaped ground electrode
configuration. The medium was seen to electrospray in the stable cone-jet mode, which later gave rise to the growing or forming
of “fir-tree” like structures. The materials were characterised using microscopy, solid state NMR, FTIR, XRD and DSC. Hence
this paper explains the direct controlled polycondensation from the siloxane sol and further presents the basis by which these

This paper describes the results of the experimental verification of the idea of wave-like aquatic propulsion of autonomous and man-inhabited vessels first published about 10 years ago by one of the present authors (V.V.K.). The idea is based on employing the unique type of localised flexural elastic waves propagating along edges of wedge-like structures immersed in water (wedge elastic waves). Such wedge-like structures supporting localised elastic waves can be attached like fish fins to a body of a small ship or a submarine and used for their propulsion. The proposed principle of employing localised flexural waves as a source of aquatic propulsion has been biologically inspired by the specific swimming mode used in nature by stingrays. To verify the idea experimentally, the first working prototype of a small catamaran using the above-mentioned wave-like propulsion via the attached rubber keel has been build and tested in Loughborough University. The tests have been carried out in two phases, in a water tank and then in open water. The test results have shown that the catamaran was propelled very efficiently and could achieve the speed of 36 cm/s, i.e., about one vehicle length per second, thus demonstrating that the idea of wave-like propulsion of small man-inhabited craft is viable. The reported proof of the viability of this idea may open new opportunities for marine craft propulsion, which can have far reaching implications. 相似文献
