The off-resonance effect and its influence on the reversibility between two quantum subsystems in interaction (single mode cavity field and a three-level atom in cascade configuration) are studied. The partial restoration condition is found at which these radiators can restore their diagonal moments, while the non-diagonal ones remain correlated after the interaction process.  相似文献

A detailed small-signal analysis of cross-gain modulation is performed for closely spaced energy state quantum dash (QDsh) semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). The analysis takes into account the carrier transition in all electron and hole states, the gain dispersion of the active layer, the effect of the energy detuning between the probe and pump signals and the effect of doping on the characteristics of cross-gain wavelength conversion. Our analysis reveals that broadband conversion efficiency can be obtained in QDsh SOA when the energy of the pump signal is at − 20 meV below the ground state. Also we find that large 3 dB bandwidth can be achieved when the energy of the pump and the probe signals is at + 30 meV. Our analysis shows that doping the dashes with P-type concentration can enhance the efficiency and the intrinsic 3 dB bandwidth of cross-gain wavelength conversion.  相似文献

In this paper, we derive the time dependent solution of the effective master equation for the reduced density matrix operator of a two level atom driven by a coherent laser field and damped by a finite bandwidth squeezed vacuum. The results show that the initial state setting, detuning parameter and Rabi frequency play important roles in the evolution of the system dynamics and geometric phase. We present a useful way for controlling the geometric phase variation for the system under consideration.  相似文献

本文给出了开放的非共振ladder型三能级无粒子数反转激光系统的非线性精确解,利用数值计算结果讨论了系统各参量的变化对激光场的增益和色散的影响.作者得到以下结论:当探测激光场和驱动场都共振时,无论其他参量如何变化,色散为零.当仅有探测场失谐(驱动场失谐)时,增益和色散随探测场失谐(驱动场失谐)的变化曲线分别具有偶对称性和中心对称性,当探测场和驱动场皆失谐时,这种对称性消失;适当调节探测激光场或(和)驱动场的失谐可获得最大或较大的无粒子数反转激光增益和无吸收高色散.增益和色散(粒子数差绝对值)随原子注入速率之比的增加单调增加(单调减小),且原子退出速率越大增加(减小)得越快.在探测场和驱动场适当失谐的情况下,保持系统其他参量不变,非相干泵浦速率只有在一定范围内取值时,才能获得无粒子数反转激光增益,并存在一个增益极大值.改变探测场或驱动场Rabi频率对无粒子数反转激光增益的影响与非相干泵浦速率改变时的情况类似.  相似文献

An approach is proposed to analyze the slippage of waveguide FEL. Based on what we find that the derivative of the detuning parameter with respect to the axial wavenumber is proportional to the slippage, several expressions of slippage are derived for analyzing slippage. The analysis results show that both zero-slippage and maximal slippage can be obtained at specific conditions. Especially for the given parameters of THz-FEL oscillator which is under development at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), the maximal slippage occurs when the parameter Δ approximately equals to 0.5. Then by analyzing the slippage in HUST THz-FEL oscillator, the parallel plate waveguide with the dimension of 4–6 mm is considered for optimum design.  相似文献

 对高频系统的束流负载效应和Robinson不稳定性条件进行了详细分析;通过对 失谐角、视在失谐角与储存环注入流强限的研究发现,对于合肥光源这样的中能储存环,由于注入状态的电子束能量较低,同步辐射相角接近90°,因此,只要给高频腔馈入一定的功率,再把腔调到一定的失谐角,就可以在环中注到较高的流强,达到二期工程的设计目标。  相似文献

稳定波长反馈引起的失谐对自由电子激光的影响   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
 利用修改的一维非定态程序,基于美国杰弗逊实验室(JLab)Demo自由电子激光装置的参数,对高功率自由电子激光振荡器稳定波长的反馈系统进行了数值模拟。电子微脉冲为高斯型分布,每个纵向网格中取16个模拟宏电子,不考虑电子束的能散度。结果表明:当无反馈时,腔内光功率和波长都可以在一定范围内稳定;加入反馈后,由于电子束能量的变化所引起的等效失谐对整个系统有着重要的影响,甚至可能导致电子和光场失去相互作用,从而使得装置不能工作。提出应该在光场达到饱和以后再启动稳定波长反馈系统。模拟结果证明,该实施方案是合理有效的,可以避免其对FEL运行的严重影响。  相似文献
