Synthesis and crystal structures of extremely crowded oligophenylenes as model precursors to ‘cubic graphite’

By using drastic conditions for a Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction, it was possible to synthesize an oligophenylene with an extremely dense packing of the benzene rings. Crystallographic data could be obtained and a projection of the structure on the plane of the central phenyl ring reveals that the molecule retained its theoretical threefold symmetry with only minor deviations. Due to its dense packing of interlocked benzene rings, this oligophenylene could be furthermore used as a suitable precursor for constructing a subunit of ‘cubic graphite’.     

Preparation and characterization of poly(amidoamine) dendrimers functionalized with a rhenium carbonyl complex and PEG as new IR probes for carbonyl metallo immunoassay

The first poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers tethered with both (η⁵-cyclopentadienyl) rhenium tricarbonyl (CpRe(CO)₃) units and polyethylene glycol (PEG) chains were prepared and characterized by combining NMR spectroscopy and Fourier-transform IR spectroscopy. Grafting of CpRe(CO)₃ units was achieved by reductive amination of formyl-CpRe(CO)₃ with the peripheral amines of generation 3 and 4 PAMAMs to yield dendrimers labeled with a variable number of CpRe(CO)₃ units, ranging from 8 to 14 for PAMAM-G3 and 17-30 for PAMAM-G4. PEG chains of different lengths were then attached to some of the remaining peripheral amines, and their respective ability to improve the solubility of the metallodendrimers in aqueous buffered media was evaluated. These metallodendrimers represent new infrared probes designed to be coupled to immunological reagents for the amplification of the IR signal in carbonyl metallo immunoassay (CMIA).

以双芴甲氧羰基赖氨酸(Di- Fmoc -Lysine)为支化单元采用固相多肽合成技术制备了一种树枝状聚赖氨酸.该聚合物表面活性氨基通过与芴甲氧羰基苯丙氨酸(Fmoc- Phe)反应获得表面完全替代的苯丙氨酸改性树枝状聚赖氨酸.产物的分子量和结构经MS和NMR进行了表征.研究结果表明,利用该方法得到的产物分子量单一,是一种潜在的理想非病毒治疗载体.     

Acetylcholine Biosensor Based on Dendrimer Layers for Pesticides Detection

We tested a new design of an enzyme biosensor based on acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and choline oxidase (ChO) immobilized on the supported monomolecular layer composed of poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimers of the fourth generation (G4) mixed with 1‐hexadecanethiol (HDT). The resulting enzymatic activity, measured amperometrically, was substantially depressed in the presence of the organophosphate pesticide dimethyl‐2,2‐dichlorovinylphosphate (DDVP, Dichlorvos), carbamate pesticides carbofuran and carbamate drug eserine. The detection limits (1.3×10^?3 ppb for DDVP, 0.01 ppb for carbofuran and 0.03 for eserine) were considerably lower than so far reported for AChE based amperometric and potentiometric sensors. The relative simple protocol of biosensor preparation, high sensitivity and stability is very promising for determination of environmental pollutants in field conditions.     

Reduced number of steps for the synthesis of dense and highly functionalized dendrimers

A series of densely functionalized dendrimers is synthesized using two branched monomers of type AB₂ and CD₂, in which the A function (NH₂) reacts with D (CHO) and the B function (Cl) reacts with C (OH). The reaction has been carried out up to the fourth generation possessing 96 end groups and has been obtained in only four steps.     

The first examples of anthracene capped chiral carbohydrate derived dendrimers: synthesis, fluorescence and chiroptical properties

The first examples of anthracene capped chiral dendrimers derived from a 1,3,5-trisubstituted aromatic core and carbohydrate units in the interior and periphery are described. Excimer formation was evident from the fluorescence spectrum, and both fluorescence and chiroptical properties indicated that the dendrimer does not undergo aggregation in the ground state.     

铜(Ⅱ)配位树状高分子的研究进展

介绍了一类由铜配位的树状高分子化合物的配位方式、制备及其催化性质。树状高分子与铜配位方式主要有分子内酰胺键的配位和分子末端的端氨基配位或端酯基配位。同时介绍了铜金属纳米粒子的制备及性质。发现随着其代数的增加，所形成纳米粒子的尺寸逐渐减小，而且大大降低了纳米粒子的团聚现象。并探讨了此类大分子在该领域中的研究和应用前景。     

Microcontact printed poly(amidoamine) dendrimer monolayers on silicon oxide surface

Patterning of silicon substrates with poly(amidoamine) generation 5 (PAMAM-G5) dendrimers using soft lithographic microcontact printing (μCP) is presented. μCP is shown to yield monolayers of dendrimers patterned with high level of definition over μm² to mm² areas. The patterns are stable over a period of weeks, which is attributed to the suppressed diffusion of partially charged G5 PAMAM on oxidized silicon. However, the dendrimers studied were shown to be relatively weakly bound to the substrate when subjected to lateral stresses. In aqueous conditions most of the dendrimers desorbed from the substrate.

高效液相色谱和热重分析在树形聚酰胺胺合成中的应用

优化了聚酰胺胺树形分子合成工艺条件，采用HPLC和热重分析（TG）相结合的方法对所合成的树形聚酰胺胺进行分析与表征；HPLC的分析表明，在各不同代的目标化合物中，均有反应物单体存在，在高代产物中除了含有少量反应物外，还有少量的低代数分子；TG分析表明，产物中小分子反应物占的比例很少，一般为2％－3％左右，如果将减压蒸馏后的产物重新进行真空干燥，对半代树形大分子，能进一步有效除去小分子反应物，而对于整数代树形大分子，则效果并不理想。
