In this study, date palm waste that was naturally treated as a filler in a linear-low density polyethylene (LLDPE) matrix was recycled to prepare green composites. Two types of LLDPE, based on basic additives, were used. UV stabilizer and the slip and anti-block were added as basic additives. The objective of this study was to examine the effect of these basic additives and the treated filler on the biodegradation, morphological, and thermal properties of the prepared samples by a soil burial test. The samples were characterized by Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Weight loss was calculated to investigate the biodegradation of the sample, and SEM and thermogravimetric analyses were performed to reveal the morphology and thermal properties before and after burial, respectively. Results showed that the presence of the bio-filler accelerated the biodegradation of the composites. The UV stabilizer had a positive impact on biodegradation factors whereas anti-block additives appeared resistant to biodegradable factors. The morphology and thermal stability of all the prepared samples changed after burial due to the effects of biodegradation during the burial.  相似文献

We describe a family of polynomials discovered via a particular recursion relation, which have connections to Chebyshev polynomials of the first and the second kind, and the polynomial version of Pell's equation. Many of their properties are listed in Section 3. We show that these families of polynomials in the variable t satisfy certain second-order linear differential equations that may be of interest to mathematicians in conformal field theory and number theory. We also prove that these families of polynomials in the setting of Date–Jimbo–Kashiwara–Miwa algebras when multiplied by a suitable power of t are orthogonal with respect to explicitly described kernels. Particular cases lead to new identities of elliptic integrals (see Section 5).  相似文献

Two series of activated carbons have been prepared from date pits; series C, using carbon dioxide as activating agent, and series S, prepared by activation with steam under the same experimental conditions. The obtained samples were oxidized with nitric acid in order to introduce more oxygen surface groups. The surface area and porosity of the parent and oxidized activated carbons were studied by N2 adsorption at 77 K and CO2 adsorption at 273 K. The oxygen surface complexes were characterized by temperature-programmed decomposition (TPD). The results show that carbon dioxide and steam activations produce microporous carbons with an increasing amount of CO evolving groups when increasing the burn-off. On the other hand, oxidation with nitric acid increases the amount of CO and CO2 evolved by the decomposition of surface oxygen groups, this increase being related to the development of porosity in the carbon with the degree of activation and to the activating agent used (CO2 versus steam).  相似文献

In the date syrup industry, date fruits are mixed with a suitable amount of water at a temperature greater than 50 °C for about 1 h. This condition is not sufficient for killing the micro-organisms present in the fruit. In addition, Overheating for a long time can damages nutritious materials and also changes the final product's color. Ultrasound was applied for improving the quantity and quality of the extraction, and also to overcome the health problem. In this research, the following variables were examined: date fruit/water ratio, ultrasonic intensity and temperature. The results showed that sonication under the proper conditions can lead to a higher extraction in a shorter time with a better physical quality of the product. Most importantly, the sonication significantly decreased the microbial count in comparison to the classical method. This study also confirmed the presence of anti-microbial substances in date fruit, and that ultrasonic waves can accelerate their effects.  相似文献

In this work, Lie group theoretic method is used to carry out the similarity reduction and solitary wave solutions of (2 + 1)-dimensional Date–Jimbo–Kashiwara–Miwa (DJKM) equation. The equation describes the propagation of nonlinear dispersive waves in inhomogeneous media. Under the invariance property of Lie groups, the infinitesimal generators for the governing equation have been obtained. Thereafter, commutator table, adjoint table, invariant functions, and one-dimensional optimal system of subalgebras are derived by using Lie point symmetries. The symmetry reductions and some group invariant solutions of the DJKM equation are obtained based on some subalgebras. The obtained solutions are new and more general than the rest while known results reported in the literature. In order to show the physical affirmation of the results, the obtained solutions are supplemented through numerical simulation. Thus, the solitary wave, doubly soliton, multi soliton, and dark soliton profiles of the solutions are traced to make this research physically meaningful.  相似文献

利用对流扩散方程的摄动有限体积格式,在Rayleigh数从10$^{3}$ 到10$^{8}$的范围内对浮力驱动方腔流动问题作了数值模拟. 对流扩散方程的摄动 有限体积格式具有一阶迎风格式的简洁形式,使用相同的基点,重构近似精度高,特别是两 相邻控制体中心到公共界面的距离相等或不相等,PFV格式公式相同等优点. 在数值模拟中, 无论均匀网格还是非均匀网格均获得与DSC方法、自适应有限元法、多重网格法等Benchmark 解相符较好的数值结果,证明UPFV格式对高Rayleigh数对流传热问题的适用性和有效性.  相似文献

The preparation of high-resolution micro-patterns is urgently demanded for developing opto-/electric-devices in various applications. Generally, solution processes have been commonly used for fabricating micro-patterned surfaces for its mild operation conditions, facile operability and low-cost. In this contribution, we reviewed recent processes on preparing micro-/nano-patterns using solution processes based the viewpoint of resolution, including inkjet printing, photolithography, micro-contact printing, dip-pen nanolithography, and fiber direct writing, etc. Specifically, advantages/disadvantages and development prospects of various solution processes for preparing micro-/nano-patterns are also summarized. We envision that the review will provide inspirations for developing and optimizing various high-resolution micro-/nano-patterns using solution processes.  相似文献

This research work involves the dyeing of acrylic fabric with natural dye extracted from date pits powders using Soxhlet extraction process. The effect of dye bath pH, salt concentration, dyeing time and temperature were studied. The optimal dyeing conditions where pH 4, 0 g/L salt, 60 min, and 80 °C. The COD and the BOD5 of the residual dye bath were measured and it was shown from the registered values that the residual dye bath presents an acceptable rate of organic discharge.  相似文献

The adsorption of phenol on Date Seed Carbon (DSC) was investigated to assess its possible use as an adsorbent for the processing of phenolic wastewater. The influence of various factors such as initial concentration, agitation speed, amount of adsorbent and temperature on the adsorption capacity has been studied. The percentage removal of phenol was observed to increase with increase an initial concentration of phenol. The adsorption of phenol decrease with an increase in temperature indicated the exothermic nature of the reaction. The Langmuir and Freundlich equations interpret adsorption isothermal data. Kinetic data was obtained by using a pseudo‐second‐order equation to understand the reaction mechanism. Thermodynamic parameters such as ΔG, ΔH and ΔS for the adsorption process were calculated.  相似文献
