An RF system for the CSRe (cooling storage experimental ring) is designed and manufactured domestically. The present paper mainly describes the RF system design in five main sections: ferrite ring, RF cavity, RF generator, low level system and cavity cooling. The cavity is based on a type of coaxial resonator which is shorted at the end with one gap and loaded with domestic ferrite rings. The RF generator is designed in the push-pull mode and the low level control system is based on a DSP+FGPA+DDS+USB interface and has three feedback loops. Finally we give the results of the measurement on our system.  相似文献

Secondary electron time detector for mass measurements at CSRe   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The Isochronous Mass Spectrometry is a high accurate mass spectrometer. A secondary electrons time detector has been developed and used for mass measurements. Secondary electrons from a thin carbon foil are accelerated by an electric field and deffected 180° by a magnetic field onto a micro-channel plate. The time detector has been tested with alpha particles and a time resolution of 197 ps (FWHM) was obtained in the laboratory. A mass resolution around 8×10-6 for m/m was achieved by using this time detector in a pilot mass measurement experiment.  相似文献

介绍了兰州重离子冷却储存环主环(CSRm)的改进W型二极磁铁和实验环(CSRe)C型二极磁铁的磁场计算和物理设计,在降低了磁铁造价和运行费用的前提下设计参数达到或超过了物理要求.根据样机的加工和检测结果来看,所有的磁场计算和物理设计的结果是可靠的.Magnetic field calculation and design of CSRm modified W-type dipoles and of CSRe C-type dipoles are presented in this paper. Under the condition of lower cost, all of the designed parameters are better than required values. Now the prototype has been fabricated and also the magnetic field measurement has been done. The 400 MeV/u 12C6+ ion beam was successfully cooled by the intensive electron beam near 1 A in CSRe.The momentum cooling time was estimated near 15 s.The cooling force was measured in the cases of difierent electron beam profiles,and the difierent angles between the ion beam and electron beam.The lifetime of the ion beam in CSRe was over 80 h.The dispersion in the cooling section was confirmed as positive close to zero.The beam sizes before cooling and after cooling were measured by the moving screen.The beam diameter after cooling was about 1 mm.The bunch length was measured with the help of the signals from the beam position monitor.The difiusion was studied in the absence of the electron beam.  相似文献
