基于单模光波导的本征模场分布,瑞利-索末菲衍射积分公式和天线原理的互易定理,给出耦合器中两个非接触平面光波导耦合特性的描述.基此,根据等光程差不等振幅多光束干涉的光场叠加原理,推导出新颖的阵列波导光栅波分复用/解复用器的光谱响应效率的解析函数表达式,这些表达式可为快速精确分析阵列波导光栅波分复用/解复用器的特性提供理论基础.同时,介绍了一个计算阵列波导光栅波分复用/解复用器特性的例子,给出其光谱响应度和信号通道串扰. 相似文献

合成了含环氧基团的可交联的甲基丙烯酸甲酯和甲基丙烯酸环氧丙酯的共聚物[Poly(MMA-co-GMA)],通过FTIR,NMR,GPC,DSC和AFM等技术对其进行了表征. 结果表明,所合成的聚合物材料具有较好的成膜性; 通过热固化使引入的环氧基团开环交联,该聚合物的玻璃化转变温度(Tg)比固化前提高了24 K,同时有效地降低了聚合物的双折射率. 用Poly(MMA-co-GMA)作为包层材料,双酚A型环氧化合物作为高折射率材料, 将其引入到包层材料中形成芯层材料的折射率在波长1.55 μm处可调,其范围是1.483~1.588. 采用旋涂、 铝掩膜和氧反应离子刻蚀的方法(RIE)制得了阵列式光波导. 测试结果表明,制作的波导在1.55 μm处实现了光的单模传输,光损小于3.0 dB/cm. 相似文献

A review is presented of state-of-the-art optical planar waveguide demultiplexers (DEMUXes), that is, phasars (arrayed waveguide) and etched grating devices designed for high-density (narrow channel spacing) wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems. Their advantages and disadvantages are discussed in comparison with other techniques for demultiplexing WDM signals. The advances made in their performance are reviewed, and ultimate limitations, set by technological constraints, are proposed. Finally, a comparison is made of the advantages and disadvantages of etched grating as opposed to phasar planar waveguide DEMUXes. 相似文献

The paper reports results of shock tube experiments of the attenuation of shock waves propagating over arrayed baffle plates,
which is motivated to simulate shock wave attenuation created accidentally at the acoustic delay line in synchrotron radiation
factory upon the rupture of a metal membrane separating the acceleration ring at high vacuum and atmospheric test chambers.
Experiments were carried out, by using double exposure holographic interferometry with double path arrangement, in a 100 mm×180
mm shock tube equipped with a test section of 180 mm×1100 mm view field. Two baffle plate arrangements were tested: Oblique
and staggered baffle plates; and vertical symmetric ones. Pressures were measured along the shock tube sidewall at individual
compartments for shock Mach numbers ranging from 1.2 to 3.0 in air. The results were compared with a numerical simulation.
The rate of shock attenuation over these baffle plates was compared for vertical and oblique baffle plates. Shock wave attenuation
is more pronounced in the oblique baffle plate arrangements than in the vertical ones.

Theoretical analysis is performed for the loss characteristics of a polymer arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) multiplexer around the central wavelength of 1.55 μm with the wavelength spacing of 1.6 nm. The total loss of the device includes the diffraction loss in the input and output (I/O) slab waveguides, bent loss caused by the AWG and I/O channels, leakage loss resulted from the high refractive index substrate, and propagation loss due to the absorption and scattering of the materials of the device. The effects of some structural parameters on the loss characteristics are investigated and discussed. The computed results show that when we select the core thickness as 4 μm, core width as 6 μm, pitch of adjacent waveguides as 15.5 μm, diffraction order as 50, the number of the arrayed waveguides as 91, that of the I/O channels as 17, confined layer thickness between the core and the substrate as 10 μm, distance between the focal point and the origin as 5500 μm, and central angle between the central waveguide and the x-axis (i.e. the vertical of the symmetrical line of the device) as 60°, the total loss of the device can be dropped to the range 3.79–7.93 dB. 相似文献

In this paper, certain important parameters are optimized for a polymer/Si arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) multiplexer by using grating theory. A 32-channel multiplexer is designed and fabricated using newly synthesized fluorinated poly (ether ether ketone) with a high thermal stability. The measured wavelength channel spacing is 0.796 nm, and center wavelength and 3-dB bandwidth are 1548 nm and 0.3 nm, respectively. 相似文献

In this paper, an athermal silicon arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) with the assistance of a polymer-filled slot structure is proposed. Arrayed slot waveguides were used to replace arrayed silicon photonic wires (SPWs). By carefully controlling the temperature dependence of the effective index of the polymer-filled slot waveguides, the athermal silicon AWG is realized. Analysis shows that the center wavelength shift of the AWG can be down to 0.14 pm/°C. 相似文献
