Graphene oxide is a two-dimensional carbon nanomaterial that has risen to prominence over the last decade as graphenes water-dispersible counterpart. This key feature offers tremendous potential in the formation of waterborne hybrid materials, coatings, membranes and adsorbents that make use of its diverse surface chemistry and extraordinary surface area. However, the fundamental colloidal properties of graphene oxide remain incompletely understood, with conflicting reports on how the material's amphiphilic nature and adsorption at interfaces render it surfactant-like or particle-like in nature. In the present work, recent developments in understanding the bulk and interfacial colloidal properties of graphene oxide are explored in the context of its chemistry and system thermodynamics, giving insight into the fundamental question of whether its aqueous behaviour is most accurately described as particle-like, surfactant-like or indeed something entirely different. 相似文献

A study of the properties of mixed nonionic surfactants microemulsions by NMR, SAXS, viscosity and conductivity 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
The pseudoternary phase behavior of the water/sucrose laurate/ethoxylated mono-di-glyceride/R (+)-limonene systems was investigated for different surfactants mixing ratios (w/w) at 25 °C. The microemulsion boundaries were determined and the surfactants content at the interface of water- R (+)-limonene was estimated. For surfactants mixing ratio (w/w) equals unity, the area of the one phase microemulsion region reaches its maximum. The system with the maximum microemulsion area was investigated using electrical conductivity, dynamic viscosity, small angle X-ray scattering, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Electrical conductivity increases as the water volume fraction increases and a percolation threshold was observed. Dynamic Viscosity varies as function of the water volume fraction in a non-monotonic way giving two-peaked plot. The characteristics of the domain size of the microemulsions called periodicity measured by small angle X-ray scattering increases with the increase in the water volume fraction. The correlation length of the domain size reaches a maximum when plotted against the water volume fraction in the microemulsions. Relative diffusion coefficients of water increase and those of oil decrease with increasing the water volume fractions in the microemulsions indicating structural transitions. 相似文献

We have synthesized wedge-shaped BODIPY dyes with hydrophilic chains and studied their aggregational behavior in THF-containing water by UV-vis and photoluminescence spectroscopies, transmission electron microscopy, and dynamic light scattering. A series of water soluble aliphatic hyperbranched poly(amido amine)s(PAMAMs) with the same or similar chemical structure of poly(amido amine) dendrimer was successfully synthesized from commercially available AB and Cn types of monomers by one-pot polymerization via the couple-monomer methodology(CMM). The AB type monomer used in this paper was methyl acrylate, and Cn monomers were multi-amino compounds such as ethylenediamine (EDA), diethylenetriamine (DETA), triethylenetetraamine (TETA). tetraethylenepentaamine (TEPA) and pentaethylenehexamine (PEHA). The reaction mechanism was investigated by means of the mass spectra of the reaction intermediates. Adjusting the feed ratio of AB to Cn. hyperbranched polymers with different terminal groups and properties were obtained. FTIR, NMR, DSC. and TGA were used to characterize the polymers. It was found that the polymers‘ properties such as solubility, thermal behaviour and encapsulation capability varied with changing the feed ratio of AB to Cn. Benzoyl and palmitoyl groups were introduced into these macromolecules by acidylation to form amphiphilic hyperbranched polymers which have a high capability to encapsulate water soluble dyes such as Congo red. It is expected that the hyperbranched PAMAMs can play an important role in the industrial applications, such as coatings, cross-linking and phase-transferring agents because of their versatility and availability. 相似文献

通过含酪氨酸的聚磷酸酯与药物分子进行大分子反应,制备了含5-氟尿嘧啶或氨甲蝶呤的聚磷酸酯。所得聚磷酸酯均具有两亲性,部分聚磷酸酯在水中能形成胶束。研究了这些聚合物的体外降解和释药性能,体外抗肿瘤实验表明,有些聚磷酸酯药物具有较强的抗肿瘤活性。 相似文献
